I recently found myself in a tough spot while traveling alone with my newborn. I needed to use a U-Haul, but when I went to hook up the trailer, I couldn’t find the trailer wiring harness on my Forrester. I’ve never towed anything before, and with my husband currently serving in Iraq, I was feeling lost and overwhelmed.
When I reached out to a nearby dealership for help, they told me it would cost $900+ because the hitch was bent and would needed to be replaced. I was completely taken aback, especially since we bought the car certified pre-owned and had never used it for towing. I needed to move the U-Haul asap…Que the spiraling 🌀
After taking a deep breath, I decided to look up some top-rated mechanics in the area. This led me to Car Doc. They had fantastic reviews, and I can totally see why. A mechanic came out to check my car right away. He crawled underneath and took a good look at everything. To my relief, explained that there was no reason to replace the hitch, saving me not only a hefty bill but also a massive headache.
It was such a relief to find someone who genuinely cared and wasn’t trying to take advantage of my situation. It reminded me that there are still good people out there who want to help rather than just make a quick buck.

Had issues with my battery they came out to jump my car so i could go get a new battery..got the new battery installed car started but didn't start again..called Car Doc they came to jump it again so I could take it to their shop they replaced the terminals and its working now..can not say enough good things about their service and how friendly they were will definitely be using them again and now telling everyone I know to go there

If you are looking to get come to the Car Doc and get any type of work done to your vehicle or vehicles, I highly recommend You give this shop a chance, if you have not already, My husband and I needed a new transmission put into our truck as soon as possible, before we were completely out of a vehicle. I called literally every mechanic shop, I could from ocean city to Bridgeville, Getting quotes for roughly what we would have to pay, for our vehicle to get back on the road. I talked to some really nice people, some not so nice and a good few amount, who didn't do the work we needed done. We had a page of everyone, Out of that list, I had contacted Mr, Larry the owner of Car Doc, from that point on just from the first initial phone call, he heard me out and our issues right from the start, he was fully honest with everything. He gave use a quote the next following day if it wasn'tthat same day, I can't recall as I do feel it ended up being the same day. He had the best quote we had receive out of so many others. They were on it, they made sure we were updated on everything that was going on from the time our truck went in to us picking it up. They are very family oriented, we ended up having a slight holt, which was not there fault by no means at all, they took in to consideration our situation and helped us find and get a resolution to being able to do what was needed. I can't say enough great things for the little Gem of a shop. We will definitely be returning to them if we end up needing to get any other work done again. Thank you all again so much for everything you guys did to help my family and I when we were down. The honesty, compassion and integrity you all had shown us means more than you will ever know! I should of posted this over the summer after we received the work done, as it kept slipping my mind due to life. But please as I said before don't stray away from this shop, they amazing inside and out. Thank you for listening to us and giving us the best rates you possibly could, more so having pride in what you do and stand on your word and work!

So thankful I decided to take my car here today. The big chevy dealership wanted to replace a part for $750. It didn't seem like chevy knew what was wrong with my car. So went to have a second opinion. Larry had if figured out and fixed by the end of the day. And he saved me a lot of money. I have 3 more items to fix and now I feel like I can have them fixed by a honest business that will not be gouging me.
