“This is an excellent small community post office. Fast, helpful and courteous service. Someone wrote that it was "worthless" because it is not open "during the lunch rush." Of course not, postal employees are entitled to lunch, too and this PO, like most in small towns that are lucky enough to have a post office, has a very small staff (1 person, sometimes 2). The complainer said to not "waste your time" (by going to the PO during lunchtime). As an alternative, you could learn the place's hours and go when it is open. By the way, there is no such thing as a "lunch rush" in Parsonsburg, although people here, including postal employees, do eat lunch.”
“I’ve had to wait a long time in line several times in the past but today I went in to renew my passport with my four siblings. Even though it was really busy in there, John rapidly stopped what he was doing to attend to us since we had an appointment. He made the experience super smooth and quick! He was funny and super amiable! As part of the application process he was reviewing, he asked if I was a student and then took his time to wish me luck in my studies and was extremely friendly with my dad and my whole family. We need more people like him in this world! Even though he was busy and probably stressed, he still helped all four of us through the process with a smile and charisma! Thank you John, for your excellent service at our 11:30 am appointment on 1/30/26!”
“This post office is open until ONE on Saturdays. Compared to the typical 12pm or even earlier closing times at most other surrounding post offices. That is where they came in clutch and the 5th star was added! Today i was rushing at 11:50am to get in there, not knowing i had a whole other hour! Lol.The lady was very kind, and very quick! The girl in front of me had an issue with tracking something, I overheard. The post office lady couldnt help w/the situation but still offered her everything she knew to get her issue solved by the correct place. Everyone had a smile, no frustration from the customer or the post office lady at all. I say that bc we all have seen customers get flustered when something cant go there way. But nope, thats how good the service is...well, how KIND the service is. The building offers self opening doors, and PLENTY of signs directing you to where you think you need to be! Parking is ample as well. Just be careful, when you see the post office, start looking for its entrance bc its easy to pass and accidentally pull into the laurel school driveway/street. “Jameriha and Will both went above and beyond to help make sure my long term delivery was on time. The day of delivery it was deemed “Non deliverable” due to a address issue somewhere in the process.Will said he would personally make sure it was held for me before it was SHIPPED BACK OVERSEAS, to repeat the months long process again.
I got it the next day, it was a Birthday gift and i didnt expect anyone to actually care. Thy helped me with a smile, and i just appreciate the actual effort put in.
