The physicians and staff are amazing at Delaware Primary Care. I’ve been a patient at this office for many years. Recently I required additional assistance with different appt. Tatrea and Kecia, went above and beyond making sure I was taken care of. Multiple calls were made on my behalf all done by caring, loving staff. Both shared I would receive individual calls once all the logistics were in place. I didn’t have to make contact with the office true to their word both called with information. Often folk only share the negative I want to share the positive and publicly thank both ladies for a job well done. I appreciate everything both of you completed for me on my behalf. Kudos to Tatrea and Kecia…two of Delaware Primary Care’s finest!! ?

I have been seeing Lisa Leonard under Dr. Tan for 5 1/2 years. (Saw the actual doctor once). I have never had a problem with my care in this office until this year. I needed a preauthorization for my asthma medicine which they had been providing for 5 1/2 yrs. I called to speak with her and they could not get her on the phone, they could only leave messages. They were very nasty and confrontational on the phone. I asked for the office manager and was connected with Kim. I told her I needed to speak w someone today because I've been without my medicine for over a month at this point. If I can't get her on the phone I'll have to come in person in the morning because I need my medicine. I asked for the doctor but they refused to connect me directly to him. I guess they don't take calls from patients. Meanwhile 4 or 5 preauthorizations are going back and forth between the office and the insurance. All missing information or filled out incorrectly. Finally I spoke to Lisa and she told me that the girls at the front said I called and was nasty. Well I was treated nasty and dismissed. Meanwhile, I've been without my asthma controlling meds for over a month and it doesn't seem to be a concern. The office can't fill out the preauthorization correctly all of a sudden after 51/2 yrs and the letter of necessity was never sent to the insurance. Then she told me that Kim said I told her "I was going to go into the office with my sneakers on" wth is that supposed to mean?? That is NOT what I said. I also told her she should have the office calls recorded so they can see how their patients are spoken to and no one can dispute or twist facts. She said she'd start another preauthorization. Next thing you know, I received a letter and her decision was to drop me as a patient. Now I am sick w the flu and my asthma is terrible because they NEVER FIXED MY PREAUTHORIZATION. I tried to find another doctor but I have to wait months. So I called her office to see if she would be willing to help me w antibiotics so I don't end up with pneumonia. Well Keisha couldn't take a message because she won't see me any longer. She told me I can speak with Kim. What a joke! I asked for a witness to the call. She spoke over me almost the entire time and refused to send her a message to see if she's at least willing to see me until I get in to the new doctor. She said she never told Lisa that. So who did? She said another girl did. What nonsense. Then she told me to contact my insurance for a provider. I guess she didnt hear me when I said I had to wait months for the 1st appointment. Also, per the insurance company, they said they wouldn't work to correct my preauthorization because they no longer see me. Just left me with no asthma meds without a care in the world. Why can't the doctors or the PA fill this out correctly after 5 1/2 years or are the girls in the front filling it out incorrectly. Either way, I can't believe how callous UNETHICAL THIS OFFICE HAS BECOME. I have to say Shelina was always nice and helpful for the past years. I have worked in the medical field my whole life and have never seen this level of carelessness from a providing office. Nor the fact that they don't hold their staff accountable!!

Didn't even get service. Spent 20 minutes on the phone to finally nail down an appointment time and then found out I had to arrive 30 minutes early. Most other doctors let you email over the forms and insurance card to save time.

Was told they could but me on the schedule because to many canceled appointments. FYI, I only appointments made 2 appointments and the first 1 I rescheduled well over a week before the upcoming appointment and the second you guys rescheduled my time because the Dr. was leaving early on that day and I said that time wasn’t going to work so I picked another day. But no worries will do a new search for a new practice.

Stood in line to check out so long my legs and feet went numb. I had to leave, I never did get checked out. I left the paper work on the front desk and asked them to give me a call when they get time to do my check out paperwork.

Had to wait at least two hours to get seen then when I go in she says she had to process a new patient first when Im the one who had an appointment already. The staff are rude and gossip a lot and the doctors are not very helpful.
