Don’t use if you want to buy a car. Unless you have a week to wait for the loan. Just hope the dealership doesn’t sell the car you want in the meantime.

They don't have a direct line to any branch. Was on hold for far too long to count. I don't even bank with them, and I would never put my money here based on my experience of trying to help my client.

Today was the last straw. Your banking system is always down. I couldn't login to the app or website due to a system error. I called the 1-800 number, and no one picked up and was just going in loops. DFCU is by far the absolute worst credit union out there. I'll be closing this account within the next 90 days.

I was close to closing several accounts. Michelle and Moira at the Saulsbury branch saved accounts that have been open for over 50 years with their followup, patience and assistance.

Charges overdraft fees to accounts when money is available; has happened multiple times, with no explanation other than "make sure you're keeping track of your actual balance, not what is showing as available." I may not be a rocket scientist, but i can do basic math; I did manage to make it through and get a degree in accounting. I switched from the "Big Banks" because of their unjust and unfair practices, specifically when it came to overdraft fees, but now it seems they're the ones to go back to. I guess they learned their lessons after a couple multi $100s class action lawsuits.

They canceled my auto pay for my car loan. I noticed it and called them. They told me it is ok and now i see that it is past due. I can never talk to a human without jumping through a ton of hoops. They took several weeks to reply to my online/written messages. Their online portal is designed to force you to have a credit union account in order to make a loan payment as it does not accept outside bank payments online without a $5 charge for each transition. The online portal in general is less functional then most portals in the early 2000's.

If I could give this branch and this credit union 0 stars, that's what it needs to be. Came in to rectify a problem with my account, and to ask questions about the credit card they have that took almost 6 WEEKS to get in the mail, and NOBODY in-branch knows anything. When my statement closes, how the cash back posts and when, NOTHING. Mind you, they only have ONE credit card. How their branch reps know nothing about their SINGLE credit card is beyond me, and a big training issue. They should know the program and its details like the back of their hand or at least have an in-desk insert or file to pull up and reference. I was told to "check online", and when I persisted I got an attitude from the rep named Michelle asking "if she could just call me tomorrow?". All within an earshot of the branch manager who could hear everything. So that's how you know it's bad, when the reps have no fear to display their lack of customer service and empathy RIGHT in front their manager - this is somewhere to avoid. I've been pro-credit union my whole life, but I see why Chase has relationship bankers and charge fees, because you get what you pay for or don't. If you have substantial deposits - look elsewhere. They def don't know how to cater to that crowd, they clearly are used to $9-$10/hr crowds who have no credit and only want to cash a check since the reps themselves have no customer service skills AND they don't know anything about their only credit card product...clearly, and why would they, cause many must not be able to get approved for it - and even if they do, you won't get it with any urgency.

WARNING. This bank will willingly give any amount of money requested away to anyone claiming to be you. This is a great place to use if you want your money stolen. Then when you call you get told that you are not on the account (even though you have been for eight years when you OPENED the account) and theres nothing they can do. I encourage everyone without an account here to go to literally anywhere else, and anyone with an account here to know your money is not safe. At a moments notice your hard earned dollars could be walking out the door with a criminal. How this place is still operating is baffling. Al Capone would be more trusted with my money than these con artists

One of the worst "banks" ever. I have had to report them to the NCUA for lies and stollen funds, on top of mishandling of accounts. All on recordings. This lawsuit should be fun...but the local media is going to have more fun.
