Worst experience ever, had to reschedule appointment previously for my son. Came in and they told me I was pushed to reschedule list again because I didn't get their email or answer it. When I first walked in the girl with braids behind counter looked me over like my son and i were bugging her... Guess I interrupted her conversation with a young man in button up that worked there too. She asks "what can I help you wit," dripping with attitude. Told her my son's name, asked me to confirm my email and there was a girl with brown hair behind her looking a the screen with a smirk like it's comical to cancel appointments and reschedule people. Then coming in still believing they had an appt. It's a game to them. The girl infront of me smiled and said, "yea you didn't answer your email so we pushed you to reschedule list," with a laugh smile. I just looked at my son and said, "come on, nevermind." Started to walk out and she stood up, yelled "Thank you so much, you have a wonderful day, bye bye, " In such a condescending tone. I've been with MyEye Dr for years, just came to a different office. I will not be returning, my whole family wears glasses. Won't refer anyone there or MyEye Dr with this treatment. Not the type of people you want at your front desk, especially with that tude and ignorant looks. Others amused by sour treatment. It's like a game or show to these two little girls.

I had been going to another eye Dr for awhile, but I was recommended to try MyEyeDr. I scheduled an appointment and was pleased that there wasn't a wait after checking in to see the Dr. That was a major complaint I had with my old eye Dr, standing room only and a long wait every time I went. At MyEyeDr, everyone was so friendly, and it wasn't long from my arrival, seeing the Dr, picking out new glasses, and out the door. I would highly recommend MyEyeDr.

Receptionist very rude

Customer service has gone downhill. I Have been a customer for many, many years. Spent thousands in there. This will be the last year. The receptionist is rude and un professional and the quality is not that good anymore. Place is dirty and they don't have the personal touch. I felt very uncomfortable going back there. When I saw the receptionist it felt very uneasy. She is very nasty. Avoid if you can!Edit: Just read the review before me and it sounds like the same receptionist. I complained to their corporate HR about this person , she put the phone down on me because I asked for her not to keep calling me sweetie. She had an attitude and was very unhelpful. She is the first line in customer care, and it's clear this person alone is causing a lot of damage to this business. I won't be using them after this year. HR was very helpful and I was going to give them another chance but they just had me on hold for 20 minutes and when I asked them a question they really didn't seem interested. I agree this really does need to be addressed. I was told they would call me back. I am praying they do so I am fed up with trying to get through and no return calls. I am on a time constraint to get contacts ordered. Was told just call back and order them. Not that simple now have to wait for a return call.

I only gave two star review because the doctor I had was great! As far as the receptionist she was so nasty and disrespectful acting. Not only to me but other customers!! She was an African American woman the only one behind the sign up desk I saw on 1/13 (Saturday) I was there on 12/27 and 1/13. She was extremely rude both times. She has no decent customer service skills at all. It’s not that hard to be nice to people. If you don’t like your job quit. Seeing her when I walk in makes me not even want to go back to this location. I live in Milford and drive all the way to Dover. Considering going to a different location next time. This should really be addressed!

Aaron has went above and beyond to help my daughter Alison today. She goes to college in Virginia and is in desperate need of contacts. She is leaving tomorrow to go back to school. He reached out to MyEye Doctor in Virginia and made her an appointment. Aaron did not have to do that. I was not understanding that she needed to have an appointment with an actual eye doctor to convert the prescription in order to get contact lenses. He explained why this was done and I finally understand now. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Aaron!!! Excellent customer services!!! And another SHOUT OUT to Ari!! She is very friendly and pleasant!! Great customer services from her as well !!!

I have been customer/client/patient of this office since it belong to senior Dr. Halpern. While I absolutely adore and love, the office, staff and doctors with their plethora knowledge, and they’re extremely wonderful, and helpfulness, am very unhappy with the way the office has been ran since my eye doctor took over the changes have been abrupt and frequent at times. My biggest complaint has been they will cancel your medical appointment if you don’t confirm it. Well if you work 10 to 12 to 14 hour days and are not allowed to utilize a phone or the Internet, during that time you have no way to confirm it. And if I schedule it, why should I need to confirm it after all I did make the appointment because I wanted it. So if I don’t show up, you should just charge me a fee, not penalize your paying customers by canceling or changing their medical appointments Without their consent. If I continue to lose money because of having to takeoff work only to find out my appointment is canceled. I feel that I will be forced to recoup my cost. Somehow I don’t want to find another office. I love this office I want to see the proper changes made so that they’re not penalizing the paying patience/customers , it’s unethical and it’s just damn rude. The office staff are wonderful. They’re amazing their knowledgeable but the office staff isn’t the problem. It’s stuff like this that are. I have a large family of more than nine of us all the three were glasses that’s 1000 bucks a pop every single year every single person you think they would appreciate my business , apparently not because me taking the time to face-to-face schedule an appointment isn’t enough to actually let me have my appointment. They canceled it because I didn’t have the time while working to confirm the very appointment that I scheduled.

The tech was wonderful and very helpful. We came in with broken glasses, and because we had the protection plan, was ordered a new pair. The tech tried to do a quick fix on the broken pair for my son. Thank you so much!

Booking an appointment was easy on line , the people were very polite, BUT !!! They are the worst on answering the phones , to get back to you !!and WILL NOT return your call when leaving a message!!!! And can not take simple directions… example I was working out of town In Dover Delaware use their facility, informed them that I would be going to my hometown in southern Maryland the desk where my contacts and glasses should be shipped, well, they were very fast in getting my glasses, so I was able to pick them up there in Delaware, but the prescription was wrong. Went back to my hometown my eye doctor turn my prescriptions in to get corrected prescription and now there’s a fight between the two. I have contacted numerous times by phone and messages and have not yet had a phone call answered nor had a message returned. I do not recommend this facility in Dover due to the fact of frustration of not being able to pick up the phone to check on the status to get questions answered they don’t even deserve the one star that I gave them because of that!!! so queer

I ordered glasses on November 14. I did not received them until December 9.When I ordered them, I made it very clear that my glasses were broken and that I needed them ASAP. I had important meetings beginning December 4, and would be out of town.I was promised that they would be ready well before December 4.After 2 weeks I called to check on the status of my order. I was told that my frames had been broken and that it would be another 10 days.Had this been communicated to me in a timely manner. I would have picked out another color or frame.I needed the glasses before I left for WashingtonOn December 7 , After no phone calls or communication. I had to call them to find out that they had arrived. When I returned home, I went to the office on December 9. Only to find that the doors were locked.I could see people inside but could not access the office. I tried calling and no one picked up the phone. Finally I was able to flag someone down. I was rudely scolded by a staff member who stated that “these doors are locked on Saturday.” There was no sign that indicated that there was another entrance to be used on weekends. The staff was rude and communication was very poor.I will not be back

I scheduled an appointment as a new patient (I’m new to the area) weeks in advanced, entered all my insurance info, confirmed my appointment and I had every reason to believe that all was well. I was not contacted prior to the appointment. When I arrived (10 mins early) the one of the receptionist was so rude and so unhelpful, I was baffled. I was told that I needed my id and insurance, I provided it promptly, (she didn’t even look at it) then I was told that to be seen “I should have confirmed my appointment online” which I did, and then finally I was told that they don’t accept my insurance (they do because I was literally referred there by my insurance co.) It became obvious to me that I was not going to get seen today based off her attitude and resistance towards me. I was kind and there was no reason for her to be talking to me so rudely. Then the next option they gave me was to pay out of pocket ($100 plus) and then they “will call and check with my insurance”. And I was going to have to wait since THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE MY APPOINTMENT. So I never got seen and honestly, I’m glad because I don’t want to do business with people who don’t respect their patients. Health care is hard enough to deal with and I would not recommend this place if you want to feel taken care of and respected.

Talk about member service! Khakis is absolutely fantastic! I felt valued, educated, and had to force myself to leave because her personable yet professional demeanor would have kept me there talking her head off. The epitome of service for sure!
