“I agree with all the negative reviews about the Dover Post Office. For years I have been complaining to the Postmaster about getting everyone else's mail but my own. This played havoc with paying my bills on time. They even put a red sticker in my mailbox to alert the carrier to make sure he/she is putting in the correct mail. I finally gave up. All this was before my current carrier, Michele. She is wonderful and takes pride in her job. She is very attentive to making sure we all receive our own mail. The only problem I had was on her day off her sub, of course, gave me someone else's mail. I respect and appreciate Michele and her work ethic.”
“We ordered a package prior to the snow storm. We received notification that it would be delivered and could not pound through the ice to remove that day. We fully expected the package to be left on driveway or not at all BUT Our mail carrier, Joe, made his way up the walkway and not only in the porch but in the package bin! He is usually great and efficient at his job, but we found this to be above and beyond. Thank you Joe! You’re awesome! 🤩”
“The ones working up front at this post office have recently changed and it is a real pleasure going in there now. They are efficient, kind, professional and always in a good mood.(Even when customers are not). If you haven't been here in awhile give it another try with the new staff. “Awesome customer service ! Professional and polite! 5 star service regardless of which employee helps me. Convenient parking as I am disabled. They are very attentive to your needs also. There is another post office which is much much closer, but I will drive the extra distance to go to the Cheswold USPS Post Office.”

“Good hours, helpful and pleasant staff. Extremely dedicated and professional letter carrier's, both city and rural. However the location is problematic, as it is located directly next to train tracks for freight trains that cause traffic to back up in a already moderately congested area of Dover. Location is directly next to Justice of the peace court house and Dover Police station.”
