I had a wonderful stay with the Residence Inn Dover! They are wonderful to work with and they are very attentive to their guests! They have a La Baguette's treats every Thursday for their guests to enjoy! I am very pleased with this place! Their management should be very proud of their staff!!

This place works out very well for me while working on a project at Dover Air Force Base. Only a 10 minute drive to Dover. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The few issues I've had while staying here they are very responsive to. Cleaning staff does a excellent job and the front staff are always friendly.Rooms: Rooms are equipped with a full size stove refrigerator and dishwasher.

New management. They lie and are noticeably racist. The main manager seems to be very miserable and tries to intimidate older guests. She told my Grandmom she would call the police for bringing a small step to climb into a very high bed. The only handicap friendly part of this room was the shower. As Titanium members/humans, we should have been treated better. They even had a problem shoveling the sidewalk during a snowstorm.

Hotel is good, but would not call it a gym that they offer, more a cardio room. fits max 2 people and only one bench so if someone is using the gym you have to wait..

I reserved this property because I have family that works for Marriot. I drove from Colorado by time we got to the hotel my phone had died. I already had the room booked/ paid for. Upon arriving the first thing I asked the front desk manager I'm assuming was if I could email the form in 5 minutes when I got in the room. If they didn't get the form I would have been charged full price so I didn't see the big deal. Instead she had us wait in the lobby til i plugged my phone in and sent it. Fine you got. After that hospitality tho I don't need you being fake nice or asking person questions of why we are in town. You kinda killed that banter being rude. So I politely say with all due respect your Manager had kinda set the tone for our stay. The manager immediately jumps in and says well I can control if you stay here or not and I'll call 911. Hold on call 911 for what because I'm voicing I wasn't pleased with how you handled a situation. She proceeded to pick up the phone a call 911. Don't want to make this a race thing but as much that's going on in the world and country as a black woman you're going to call the police on me for that. As a black man it's hard enough without your own calling the police for nonsense. Because you didn't want to see your ugliness in the mirror. I honestly feel she had an issue with my gf being white and that's exactly how she treated us. That was literally the interaction. As a family and friends member is this how you guys choose to treat others. When your family and friends go places is that the treatment you guys see fir to show guests? I'm still upset and baffled by the experience then to have my card still charged No thank you! Corporate will hear about this and the owner should know. Hospitality means to make customers/guests feel welcomed and appreciated not this.

Rooms are older but clean . The appliances are old and the refrigerator was noisy. My room had a working fireplace that was nice! The breakfast was just ok with microwave eggs......

The desk staff is among the friendliest in Dover. The housekeepers are also nice, and they get the job done. You can easily walk for a beer at Wolfie's or the great Mexican restaurant at Wyndham.

This was almost the best hotel I've ever laid in beside The Drury Hotel! The place was clean and tranquil! The staff was super friendly! The room looked so good all I wanted to do was change clothes and take pictures, it was so elegant! I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TREATMENT FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE!

Amazing customer service with a front desk cleark who is so friendly and efficient. We love it here. We think the room is underpriced... But please don't raise your prices now. ? ? This room is a king suite and it's like a mini apartment. We love how clean and well-supplied this room is. It's absolutely amazing!!! We love the amenities this hotel offers, the ambiance of the landscaped grounds to the matching and tasteful decor, and the safety that we feel here. The pool is open from 7 in the morning until 10 at night. They have a basketball court, and breakfast is from 6:30 am until 9:30 am. Overall, we absolutely love it here, and we will be back! (As long as you don't raise your prices. ?)

The room we rented for a babyshower wasn't vacuumed and there was supposed to be table cloths and there wasn't anything. Luckily we had our own. Other than that everything was fine.

We lived here at the Dover Residence Inn for 7 months from December 2022 to July 2023, and it was a pleasure. We were on a business assignment in Dover and honestly weren’t super excited about it to begin with, but we ended up enjoying it way more than we thought. We stayed in a studio for 8 nights before there was a one-bedroom suite available, but even the studio was pretty comfortable and spacious. We couldn’t have asked for better than room 129 though. We had a full kitchen and living room with a fireplace with its own thermostat, large bathroom with plenty of counter space and storage, and a comfortable bedroom with space for our dogs’ kennels. The hotel staff was always super accommodating. Packages were always safe at the front desk and they went above and beyond to help with any issues we had (there were several but they weren’t caused by the hotel at all). The staff is very serious about building safety with cameras and limited outside access. While we were there, they really stepped up their breakfast game with a Keurig and many new beverage options weekly as well as a mew waffle irons and batter dispenser. It is clear that the staff here are always doing their best to improve guest experiences and amenities. The laundry room is also very upgraded compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed at. The machines are fairly new and take cards for $3 per cycle, better than what you’d get at a nice laundromat for sure. It was so helpful that I didn’t feel like I needed to go off-site for laundry every week. The building and furniture are pretty old, but everything is cleaned regularly including the carpet in the common areas. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Dover.Rooms: Very comfortableSafety: The city itself has its dangers but the hotel was always secure. We went out of town leaving our car in the parking lot several times without any issues, up to 9 days once. They also don’t allow deliveries into the hotel beyond the lobby and lock the front doors after dark so that a key or buzzer is needed for entry.Walkability: DuPont is a busy road but it is walkable to several stores and restaurants, including cross walks if you need to cross all four lanes. We walked to Ranch Azteca and Panera all the time.Food & drinks: Different options are provided for breakfast regularly including different flavors of waffle batter, juices, muffins, etc.Noteworthy details: Always doing their best.

I am the type of person that will read a review to get a glimpse of the hotel and the environment. It can be a daunting task. I must say i was not sure based on the limited pictures on the page. Once i got that i was fairly pleased. the location was not hard to find. very quiet. I got the room i requested. The front desk attendant was helpful and had me checked in very quickly. We did not have to do any waiting. My wife and daughter was very pleased with the hotel and rooms, so that made me feel at ease. We travel alot with these lacrosse tournament. I must say for the price this hotel exceeds. The only thing i must say for a con, is that the wall paper at the bottom of the wall in the bathroom was peeling off a little. Other than that i have nothing. I would stay here over and over if it looks the same with the same service. I do not do run down or budget hotels. Please take my word, this is a great place to stay.Rooms: spacious, clean. only need to figure out how to get 2 tvs in a studio suite. i do not like the spinning tvsNearby activities: There is a casino, shopping plaza and hotel down the road.Safety: The hotel is in a very bright location. Right off Dupont Hwy.Walkability: There are alot of eateries and shopping in walking distance.
