The shelves have been empty for at least a year or more. They never have anything in stock. Ever. And the pharmacy is absolutely horrible. I transferred my medicine to another pharmacy who actually cares about their customers. The store itself is dirty, half the lights don't work. The ceiling is stained, and bathrooms are never open. Always closed for repairs. And speaking of repairs, the outside of the building is falling apart. The entire location looks like something out of a post apocalyptic movie. I actively avoid this location.

Horrible costumer service ESPECIALLY the pharmacy every time I call and talk to them they act like they neverrrrrrrrr know what I’m talking about or the answer to anythingggg hope they shut down soon

The worse customer service from the pharm tech Nancy.... plus for some reasons the bathrooms are always out of order, the cashier at the front told me go to Wendy's or Burger King across the street. Followed by you don't even have to buy anything, I told her I don't think I can make it she said you drive don't you? Anyways besides the pharmacy there's almost no merchandise left in the store. I personally could care less about this location but my elders get their prescriptions from here and I don't appreciate them being treated subpart when they have been nothing but loyal customers to this location. We were in there on a 07-09-2024 at 1:40 to 45 pm waiting on pharmacy to reopen.

We switched Rite Aids because of the constant delays of prescription orders. So far so good.

This pharmacy never seems to open on time. I’m left waiting until almost ten minutes past before I see the pharmacist running past to open things up.

Transfed my prescription here from another pharmacy. Get here at 9am and pharmacy is not opened. Ask a staff member and she informs me pharmacist is always late. Right now they are not looking good. 1st impression is a lasting impression. Looking for anotherr pharmacy.

Shopping with my 3 year old when she starts saying she needs to pee, saying she's afraid she will pee her pants. An employee overheard us from the next isle and calls over to let us know the bathroom is out of order. Things happen but.... as we are rushing to check out we are told the person they are waiting to come to check us out is ..... In the bathroom. Nice.

My 2 yo had to potty so we stopped here potty seat in tow. They denied her the use of the bathroom while even hearing her say she got to potty. She’s 2. How do you deny a 2 yo??!!

Pharmacy is horrible!!!! You wait in line and get ignored by the employees behind the counter. Horrible experience. I will be switching to mail in scripts.

I love the regular store but the Pharmacy has ruined it for me. My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last year and since the beginning the pharmacist and Pharmacy techs have been very rude. First when I ask questions about my daughters insulin they look at me like I am stupid but honestly I am asking because I don't know and need guidance. I am already worried and scared since I have never had experience with the disease and I want to make sure my daughter has what she needs. Secondly, they never have my daughters insulin in stock for example I called last week for her insulin since she only had 50 units left they said they would have it by Saturday April 29th, when I called to see if it was ready for pick up they said that it would be available on Monday May 1st when I called on Monday they said it would be available today, I called today since my daughter currently has only 5 units left and when I asked the ETA of the insulin the lady on the phone said I don't know there is a lot of traffic maybe call back later. She was rude and honestly doesn't care if my daughter gets het insulin. They have no compassion and because they are not the ones with the disease they could care less. I called Bayhealth Outpatient Pharmacy and they were excellent. Be kind you never know what people are going through!!!

Corporate needs to be notified on how bad this pharmacy truly is! The people at this pharmacy are slow, your doctor will send a prescription over only to be ignored by the pharmacist. The only thing these worker are concerned about is making sure they make it for lunch (11-2pm) and closing time. The hours are incorrect and the automated system that you get when you call has incorrect hours. How does you automated system say your pharmacy is open until 9pm but your staff claims to have a sign that says 8pm on the door??? Now I have to suffer until tomorrow and I need my prescriptions tonight! When you get there they act like you’re the problem. I work in Milford and I call my order in at 3:45 pm it takes about 20 mins (if traffic is decent) to get to Dover from Milford. Tell me how I arrived there and had to wait 2 1/2 hours because they claimed they didn’t receive it! When I called as soon as I was off @ 3:45 pm and was told by the pharmacist that it was ready! I hate this Rite Aid and I strongly suggest if you are to go to any Rite Aid in or near the Dover area. Try going to the one in Camden, De the have way better service, very nice people, and are fast. I would’ve went there but my doctor got the wrong address. All the worker in this pharmacy needs to be fired and they need a fresh new staff with integrity for their job!
