The technician was great and did a good job. I was very disappointed in the booking of the appointment procedure. I booked on line on Friday for a Monday 8am-noon appointment and cleared my calendar for that day. Received a confirmation on email At 10am on Monday they called to say they weren’t coming because they had to order a gasket. This is the fault of their online booking program and they weren’t going to take responsibility for the problems it caused. I booked another day and again cleared my calendar. The tech arrived and said they couldn’t get the gasket and would use a universal substitute. He did a good job. I suggest you call to make your appointment rather than using the faulty online program that doesn’t know if they will need to order a gasket or not.

The Safelite technician, I believe his name was Dustin, did an amazing job replacing the windshield and communicated very well throughout the transaction. He even went so far as to replace the Velcro pads on my EZPass transponder!

The lack of communication is incredible for you guys. I scheduled an appointment to get a new windshield for my small box truck. Paid out of pocket when I set up the appointment. After the appointment was scheduled. You guys called me the day of to tell me that the part was not “in yet” so had to be rescheduled to 2pm on Thursday. And I had already taken off work early for this. Then I had to reschedule the appointment for Friday at 4 due to truck problems. You guys then called me at 3pm on Thursday to tell me you guys can’t do it. Which I asked the lady why not when it wasn’t a problem before and I asked her what time do you guys have available. She said “it has to be dropped off all day”. Which made me pissed off because the fire guy didn’t say that at all and she tried to cover for him. So had to cancel the appointment for a refund and she just hung up on me. Your service is horrible. The last company I went to in Newark De did my windshield in an hour. This is my third windshield and both previous times they did it fast and cheaper too. I only wanted to have you guys do it because it’s near my houses. But the inconvenience is horrible.

Person at the desk was unfriendly and acted like we were an interruption to her day not that they have to over the top friendly but it was clear that she was not happy. The car done as promised but they never opened the trunk to clean all the glass there and we had to have them re vacuum. Technician was very nice

I’ll never use Safelite again. My first appt was rescheduled bc the BMW windshield came in damaged, so they rescheduled for the next day. Came on time and installed an after market windshield which caused repeat error messages bc it was never properly calibrated. They gave me the impression my appt was rescheduled so I could get the proper BMW windshield. BAD BUSINESS.

Called and left ALL my info. Also stressed that it needed to be done as I have a trip coming up to please contact me.They said they would text and email me an estimate. Waited two days called them back only for a lady to tell me they dont do bus windshields! Strange! Probably the largest glass company in the country and they told me in the beginning oh yeah we can do that! And no call back no answer nothing. I had to call for them to me no. Not a good way to do business safelite!!! You just lost a $5k job.. no one wants to work now days it guess...so ill do it myself thanks for nothing safelite!

I was very pleased with my experience at Safelite. They were prompt and efficient with the front windshield repair. The technician that was assigned to my vehicle was Shaquior and from the looks of everything it looks like he did a great job!
