Workers are all so nice. "Items on sale" prices are very good prices compared to other super markets.

I recommend Safeway. You can also earn money off on gas.

They were so helpful ? to me. They helped me with issues with my insurance by calling to see what was the issues. They also charged my phone for me when it died as I was waiting to receive my medicine. If it wasn't for them, I would've been stranded and would've to walk home. THANK YOU GUYS.

Considering where it's located and some of the noisy vehicles going through the parking lot, pretty much says it. The manager in the deli area with the southern accent was pretty personable, but other than that the line at customer service was pretty standard... 1 person handling the whole thing including lottery tickets etc. Aside from that I guess it was ok.

This grocery store is in the heart of Dover and you would think that they would strive to be the best store in town. Most everything you need is either out of stock or they don't even carry it at all. The cashiers are the slowest I've seen and they choose to send the stockers to restock at peak shopping hours which makes the aisles so cramped. Don't even get me started on the produce. Wet and soggy produce that is always out of stock. None of the staff is friendly either. Overall the store is a mess on good days and a disaster on busy days.

They have always exceeded our expectations to previous pharmacies we've used. If medicine is out of stock or "special order" (for us freestyle libre sensors) it's overnight ordered and filled by next afternoon. Pharmacists, clerks, cashier's are always friendly and know the patient and families, and can answer any questions on usage, and in our case, have mentioned possible countra-actions with conditions or other meds

I am no longer going to shop for my groceries at Safeway in Dover, Delaware. After asking on three occasions to have their employees wear their face masks properly, I counted six of them (including management) with their masks below their noses. I no longer feel this store has the customers' health and safety in their best interest. The sad thing is, there are employees there who I like a lot. They seem to have no problem wearing there masks properly, even, if like the rest of us, it can get uncomfortable. I appreciate their consideration for doing the right thing, and I fear for their safety having to be around others who choose to disregard the store's own policy during this Covid-19 pandemic. Safeway is not the safe way to buy groceries. Low masks = No masks.

If you are a single parent with young children DO NOT SHOP AT SAFEWAY!! They are limiting the amount of people that come in to 2 per family and told me that I couldn’t come in with my 4 year old and my 1 year old. I tried to explain to the manager that I’m a single parent and can’t leave my kids and she said “that’s not my problem”. It’s ridiculous that they are discriminating against single parents with young children. This policy even doesn’t consider the single parents, military spouses, or widows with young children. Obviously I understand the limit of people that come in the store but to limit per family is extremely discriminatory.

I wish this store wasn't so convenient to my gym because I really really hate this store. The staff is generally unfriendly, the lines are long and the prices are higher. They expect the client to adjust to them-- they're all about self check out, for example, so they have minimal check out personnel Today, I paid for my items and tried to exit but the cart locked at the door and jammed. I knew they would have taken me to task, so I just went to my car. Thanks, Safeway for the nasty cut!
