If I can give a -5 star this would definitely get it.This store has changed drastically in pricing. The prices are so HIGH it is ridiculous. This stuff is donated so what ever they sell if for they make a profit.People just starting out can not go there for furniture unless they have money money. Less fortunate ppl still struggling even at the hand s of these stores. Goodwill as well. Its a shame really.

Every employee is so rude it is unbelievable. Talk extremely ugly about customers and complain about everything loudly and tell people to leave the store 30 minutes before their closing time. Going here is verbal and emotional abuse. I wish they would fire everyone there and re-hire because I do like going to find items.

Love shopping here but today the old woman charged me 4x the price because they don't individually price games and DVDs. She told me someone put it in the wrong spot. This is supposedly a "Christian" business. But the employees refuse to honor the sales price. In retail your supposed to reorganize your store so everything is in the right place, because if a customer sees it for one price you have to honor it, for it was a business fault it wasn't in the right place. Now I will complain about her every chance till she's fired or taken off register. I will not buy from this store with her there. This is not a Christian store like the rest. Beware the older lady with short blonde hair. She was wearing hooped earrings today. She's always arguing with customers over the price or just trying to be difficult

I love shopping here. The prices are great and usually tags are half off. The only issue that I have been having with this store (Dover) recently is that it seems like the staff is intentionally or unintentionally damaging items by piercing the fabric versus the tag. There are a lot of items that are tagged correctly (through the seam, through the tag) but more often than not I find myself putting items back because they have tagged through the fabric. Just yesterday I found 3 beautiful blouses for myself and had to put them all back because the tagger tagged the fabric. After a few washes, this item will be unwearable due to damage. Please start piercing the tags or seams and stop ruining otherwise beautiful items! Sincerely - someone who only thrifts their wardrobe.

i shopped the salvation army today at 1278 Forrest Ave in Dover De. I puchased an instant pot accessories set for $5.00. I asked a worker there if I could open the bag they had put it in to see if all the pieces where there and she said it's all there, I just put it out. So I buy it , get it home and low and behold the spring form pan is missing, the tongs are missing and the instructions are missing but she had just checked it and it was all there. THEY LIE RIGHT TO YOUR FACE AND THINK NOTHING OF IT. so I try to call them on the phone and I get a recording that there is a technical problem and they hang up on you. I will be there first thing Monday morning to get my money back even tho it says all sales final. I am not leaving without my money. Today is May 6, 2023

I’ve really found some nice items here! I spent over 60.00$ . I like how the store is big with huge selections. I’ve bought name brand clothes such as nike, Columbia, polo , for about 6-7.00 each. I bought a nice Anne Klein long winter pea coat 6.50. Their prices are reasonable. I give it 4 stars because they charged me a incorrect price for individual cards . They charged me 29 cents instead of 25 cents, but that’s ok! The price was still cheap. The staff here are friendly. It was my first time shopping here at this location. It was worth the drive. I was also able to donate some clothes too!

I used to go to Salvation Army in Milford a lot. But the manager at the time, African American male, started jacking prices, and make that place an eBay style store. Everything retail priced. So I started driving all the way to Dover because it was cheap and great. Slowly I realized the good items were gone and everything was getting expensive just like Milford. Then I saw the guy! He works at Dover now. And it all made sense. Now when you go, there are barely any items. Everything is priced like online or eBay. It’s a joke. And they are taking the good items. It’s so obvious. Best place to go now is goodwill near Camden. It’s only reasonable price place left in the area. Everywhere is is trying to do the eBay thing for profits. The profits should be giving cheap items to the community. Not how much money you make and how many good items you can take for yourself. Sad.
