Today I experienced a very unique hair salon experience at Unique Hair Creations. I blessed to reconnect with the two twin queens (owners) Velma and Thelma. Not only did their young protege Kimora toss up my difficult to manage locks but I and all the queens in the salon were able to break bread together (examine the Scriptures). The experience was a whole vibe. The price for my services were perfect and I felt like the king I am the entire time I was there. Queen Velma and Queen Thelma are precious jewels. If you are fortunate enough to book an appointment at their salon, it will literally be in the will of the Most High Power!
It’s really that there are salons out there that don’t carry on in gossip or mischief. This salon is far from the norm! You’ll get more than just a good look from here. The experience is life changing! Come through! Pick yourself up some of their special brand black-owned hair product and enjoy and stimulating sophisticated conversation! I’m looking forward to my next hair care experience! Well done Unique!

My boyfriend was told to be there for a retwist on his locs at 11:00, called at 1:40 to see if he was almost done...head wasn’t even touched yet. Very unprofessional! Why schedule an appointment for 11:00 only to have your client sitting & waiting for 3hrs before even getting in a chair?Service: Dreadlocks

I had a 12:00 appointment for a consultation for locks. I got there early so I waited patiently till it was time for my appointment. At 12:05 I asked one of the stylings where is my hair stylist. He advised me to wait a few minutes and he would see what was going on. One of the owners I believe came out to inform me that my stylist was not there stating that she spoke to her and she was not aware she had an appointment. Now they have a system where they text you a day before to confirm the appointment which I did. The person who I was speaking to could not service me for another hour. Stated that this is not the way they do business. She didn't ask me if she could reschedule or anything. I just walked out. I guess they have a strong consumer base and that new customers are really not needed.

I have been getting my hair done there for several months my stylist James bunkley clay has a hair healthy and I like what he has done and is doing the atmosphere and unique haircreations is wonderful there's always a peaceful atmosphere the owners both women are special they're great stylist and great people I was looking for a place and I found it I say blessings to all of those that work in the shop it's a great place

Do not go here. I don’t know who the receptionist is but I’ve called twice & both times they were very rude & unprofessional. Just now I called about my hair appointment and the lady put me on hold thinking I couldn’t hear.. but I could hear her talking trash about me thinking I was on hold. She did it twice. Me & my family won’t be going here anymore. Unprofessional isn’t the word. I will make sure to let people know.Service: Hairstyling
