My Sonata Hybrid broke down in Rehoboth with the "Hybrid Alarm". The local shop couldn't fix it and told me to tow it to a dealer. When I called Winner they said "we aren't taking tow-ins"!!Maybe I should have offered to carry it there? It had to go to a dealer in Salisbury,, Md. Very disappointing.

I drove into the Dealership and the first person I saw was salesman Tim Abell. He greeted me and my wife and asked us if he could help us. From that point on everything went as smooth as butter! Once I told Tim what I was looking for, he did everything he could to meet our expectations. Within at least an hour and a half we were driving off the lot in our new car. Tim was one of the most honest car salesman I have ever worked with. He did not over promise or under promise anything. We are very happy with our purchase. If anyone wants a great salesman, when you go to Winner Hyundai, ask for Tim!

Malik was outstanding. He was able to accommodate all my needs as far as making the process of trading in my vehicle for a new Tucson as seamless as possible. My new car was not ready and since I reside quite a distance from the dealership, he said he would deliver it the next day to my home address. It’s not surprising he was voted best salesperson of 2023. My new car is beautiful.

I had an awesome experience at the Winner Hyundai Service Department. I needed lock nuts removed from my tires. When I walked in I was greeted by Melissa Duffy. She was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and was able to schedule an appointment for me on the same day. My car was in and out of the service department less than 2 hours.

Lex was wonderful to work with. I had a change in timeline to obtain a new vehicle and Lex kept me informed throughout the whole process. When I did get the car, he thoroughly explained all the new technology so I could enjoy all parts of the new car. Highly recommend him! Everyone else at the dealership was extremely welcoming and the whole transaction was smooth.

I was very pleased with how I was treated by my salesman ( Amin) and the rest of the staff. One of the main reasons that I chose this dealership was because they did not charge those exorbitant fees above MSRP just because they are selling a popular car.One thing I didn’t like is that they gave me the full $7,500 federal EV rebate but not the $2,500 DE State rebate. Previously I leased a different brand car from one of their other dealerships and the state rebate was deducted from the price. When I asked why no one gave me an answer.

Once again, Service Advisor Amanda Conard and Tech Chris Blankley have worked their magic to make my venerable 2005 Hyundai Tucson SUV run smoothly and well. Although they are nice, given the high price of new Hyundai vehicles it makes sense to keep what I own now going as long as possible. I have had my Tucson serviced at Winner Hyundai in Dover, DE, since 2015, and I have appreciated how their team has worked closely with me to do repairs and/or preventive maintenance on a timely basis. This has worked well. In late 2022, I wanted new tires and Amanda recommended a set of 'Goodyear Assurance' -- superb! During my 6/28/23 appt., they changed the oil and wiper blades (what a difference!), also recommending replacement of some aging engine gaskets and hoses. Will do when parts come in. Thanks Amanda, Chris for keeping my Tucson safe and sound!

I saw the car I wanted online, confirmed Winner had it, and drove from PA to get it. Service was great, no one tried to upsell me warranties, I got an out-the-door price and done. Very happy with my experience, would recommend.

I had a issue with my vehicle that needed immediate attention or I would have been left without transportation, called around to get service but everyone was booked out weeks. Called the dealer spoke with Amanda who immediately know what the problem was and offered me to bring my vehicle in to try and squeeze me in between their busy schedule. I end up having to get a rental for a few days and with that expressed my financial concerns to Amanda in having to pay for a rental. She was able to get my car serviced within 24 hours.The best part about dealing with Amanda was her bubbly personality and awesome customer service!Thanks a million Amanda, you saved me a lot of time and money.

Test drove the new Ioniq 6 earlier this week. Ended up trading in my vehicle and driving home in the Ioniq 6. Winner staff, esp Lex and Tee, were friendly, helpful and made the whole experience memorable. Would certainly recommend checking out Winner if you are interested in purchasing or leading a new Hyundai.

I’ve had issues with my Hyundai Sonata since November ‘22. My car has been in and out of repair shops so much that the total bill was adding up close to the value of the car itself. I needed a solution to my acceleration and loss of power (ascending hills) issues immediately. Enter Melissa and Brandon Parker @ Winner Hyundai Dover DE. I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment with this team, but the wait was worth it! From the moment I dropped my car I received stellar customer service from Melissa. She was able to gather all necessary input from be and delivery time responses/answers to all my queries as my car was being repaired. Even when the car was returned to me upon initial completion and I noticed the issue wasn’t fully resolved…she quickly opened up another appointment for me NEXT BUSINESS DAY and kept me calm with timely info and updates. As for Brandon, he is the master technician and wizard that not only fixed all my concerns, but even provided a solution that makes my car feel 5 years younger! Brandon worked tirelessly on my car for 2 days straight (even staying late after the shop closed to work on my car) to provide the best service maintenance I’ve ever received. These two restored my faith in Hyundai and should be commended internally as excellent ambassadors for their company. Cheers to you both!

Sean was knowledgeable and helpful throughout our leasing experience. He made the leasing process understandable and thorough. I would definitely purchase another vehicle through Winner Hyundai!! Sean spent almost an hour explaining all the features my new Hyundai has and contacted me after the lease signing to review any questions I may still have. A+ for service and a great experience!

Unfortunately, there's massive disorganization at this dealership. I purchased a car from here out of state, and I can't recommend anyone else do the same. In the month that it took to solidify the deal, I spoke to over half a dozen people, all of whom had different numbers, contact information and would randomly text without my having been introduced prior. I had to advocate for myself, follow up, and request information that should have been freely given and was met mostly with apathy at best and utter confusion at worst from each person I communicated with. I was given the wrong purchase price from an employee because an additional notary fee wasn't factored in; I was later told that that employee 'made a mistake' and likely didn't know what they were doing. In what universe is that level of incompetence acceptable? Folks, these deals require having thousands of dollars exchange hands, and when the dealer receptionist hasn't a clue what they are required to do; when sales people aren't in direct communication with a financial advisor who leaves office in the midst of your purchase without forewarning; when they require you to work with a notary in your state at cost and that person turns out to be an elderly man who can barely take documentation photos and has verbalized that they aren't sure how they'll overnight your checks in a timely fashion... the level of chaos was simply intolerable (and I'm an able-bodied, college educated person with a partner who could help me get through the process with each passing day).I was honestly concerned that the car wasn't real and I was just being given the runaround. I wasn't sure the deal was even legit until the car arrived at my front door — that's how insane this process was. The car was delivered early last week, and I haven’t heard a thing from the dealership to ask how for feedback, ensure I’ve been cared for, or am happy with their service. I think they know better than to ask for a review of customer service that wasn’t delivered. 0/10 recommend working with this team to facilitate a car purchase. —Ashley Strahm (Y’all know what my email address is.
