This place is very dirty and disgusting. There were flies everywhere and everything was dirty. Random people walked in the back and started having conversations with workers while making our food, which took longer. It took Atleast like 10 minutes just for a simple breakfasts sandwich because the workers were standing around doing nothing. Do not come here, it’s disgusting.

TL;DR: If you are planning to stop at a Royal Farms, or anywhere for that matter of fact, DO NOT stop at this one unless you going to die otherwise.
Actually the most disgusting Royal Farms I have even been in. This puts a stain in the Royal Farms name. Flys are everywhere in sight, mice running around the floor, unknown stains on the floor, undersized bathrooms which were in dire need of a cleaning, and least of all they had old chicken and gave us a inaccurate time until new chicken arrived. Truly a sad location.

Everyone was just so kind here! Cashiers and cooks were so friendly and helpful. Fried chicken croissant sandwich was solid-both regular and spicy. Not a big fan of the ordering system, but we figured it out.

Mice running through the store. Old expired chicken in the case. Back of store is fithy and disgusting. The bathroom smells like it aint been cleaned in a month chicken is never as fresh as they say unless you see it coming out the fryer

I stop at this location when traveling. Convenient location on a major intersection, spacious, and multiple gas pumps available on each side. When I inadvertently lost my wedding rings, the night manager Karen saved them for me and returned them when I stopped by to check if I had lost them at this location. Thank you to the person who found them and to the staff members who saved them for me.

This Royal Farms location is very inconsistent. The gas station has plenty of pumps, including diesel options for tractor trailers, but the credit card machines at the pumps frequently don’t work, which can be a hassle. When they do work, fueling is smooth.
The convenience store is where things really go downhill. It’s almost always dirty, the bathrooms are consistently filthy and smell bad, and the staff are generally unfriendly. While they offer a range of snacks, drinks, and made-to-order food, the hygiene behind the counter is questionable—I wouldn’t feel comfortable eating food prepared here.
Another ongoing issue: the windshield wiper squeegees almost never have any fluid in the buckets, making it difficult to clean your windshield during a stop.
If you need fuel and nothing else, this place can work in a pinch—but don’t expect a clean or pleasant experience beyond that.

Cashier was rude. She needs to learn how to speak to people. Don't force people to check themselves out of the cashier is standing right there looking at you. I asked her to ring me up please. I handed her my money and deli receipt after 2 failed attempts at using the self check out . she says give me the money, walks around the counter to attempt to put it in the self check out . I left the receipt on the counter and took my money and left. Why couldn't she just ring it up and take my money. She gets paid to be a cashier. Not snatching money and being rude . Minimum wage did just go up to 15.00 in January. Perhaps she should go work collecting trash on the side of the highway where she doesn't have to deal with people ps this was Thursday morning March 6 2025 approximately 945 am

Third time we stopped here on our way to Ocean City. Every time it’s been a joke. The pump locked my card for no reason. Then the contactless pay doesn’t work. I went inside and the cashier said we can’t do “fill it up” on a credit card. ? I had to ask him how I am supposed to get gas then? He said I had to give him a set amount. ??♀️ Lead with that, sir.
Bathrooms are beyond disgusting. ?
