I can’t rave enough about how helpful and sweet the staff is. We were visiting here for a quick trip from NJ and wanted to pick up a few souvenirs before the drive home. The selection was very varied at both stores. The staff at both the clothing store and the fudge shop were great. Made our family smile. Highly recommend a visit!

My 13 year old daughter was profiled today at this store by an employee named Sharon. Her purse was taken and it was searched illegally and without cause as my daughter did not take anything and she was still in the store shopping when she was victimized by Sharon. From reading other comments it seems teenagers are “targeted” by Sharon. Please find another place to make your purchases as a store that has employees like this DO NOT deserve your business

Visiting Delaware beaches and made a specific trip to Fin’s to buy some tshirts etc for myself and my daughters. We were with my parents as well. We were followed by Sharon throughout the store, the entire time we were there. My 13 year old daughter was accused of stealing a $7 pura vida bracelet by Sharon from the display rack at the counter. She then asked my daughter to open her purse so that she could check the contents. My daughter was flabbergasted but obliged. We later paid for our things and left. Outside the store my daughter broke down in tears because she had never been in that predicament before and would never steal, let alone with her mother and grandparents present.After we left the store, we demanded that she come out and apologize however she just went on and on about how they have so many thefts in the store. The coffee show owner across the square as the incident outside Fins and agreed this is not the first time this type of situation has happened.I tried to return everything we bought, but was told they don’t do returns. How convenient. We will not be shopping here ever again. Stay away, especially if you have teenagers.

If you want people to buy from you then don’t profile people of color and teenage girls and treat them like thefts. We got our *zippered* bags taken from us and they were clearly searched behind the counter. We did not see any signs that stated bags were prohibited, and if there was, I suggest making it larger and more noticeable. There were also other customers that did not get their wide open bags confiscated which was very unreasonable, as adults are equally able to steal things as well as teenagers. I was looking at jewelry (without my bag) and an older male employee got way to close to me and heavily breathed while moving the racks around while I was looking. The whole visit was extreme unpleasant and I did not feel welcomed. You can find the exact same clothes at other surf shops for cheaper in ocean city. As a store that’s mostly targeted towards the young adult audience they should treat their shoppers with better respect.

took mine and my friends purses in case we were “stealing” while any other customer got to keep their shopping bags and big expensive purses. worker made passive aggressive comments about how it’s better to just take our bags instead of calling the police. almost 99% sure they went through it too considering an old water bottle from days ago ended up on top and my wallet was at the very bottom. not sure that’s legal. too sophisticated. nobody wants to steal your cheap quality but overpriced merchandise. they claimed it was “store policy” but we went in the next day with different workers and nobody said anything to us at all. don’t buy from here, owners are rude and stuck up.

I would think twice about any purchase at FINS. We bought multiple different shirts with designs that have completely fallen off or been a mess after a few wears and washes (in cold). I went in to ask the owner about their quality standards while holding 5 completely ruined shirts from there, and instead of any apology or offer to do anything - he got in my face and told me to “just buy new shirts.” Zero quality & zero customer service means that we will definitely not spend any money there in the future!! I still can’t believe how he came from behind the counter to get in my face and told my son not to speak to him. Unbelievable!

Have shopped here for years. Last year two sweatshirts had the screen printing begin to peel after just one wash. We were already home and could do nothing about it. Fast forward to this summer and the same thing happened with a T-shirt while on vacation. Owner/manager refused to replace the shirt because my daughter already wore the shirt. The screen printing peeled off where they place the size sticker. Nothing like disappointing a kid whose souvenir is already looking like trash. Owner was rude and yelled “bye-bye” when I told him we wouldn’t be making any more purchases there.

My favorite beach store! It has two locations and lots of unique and colorful clothing and accessories for every family member. I buy one or two items every time I visit and I particularly love their long sleeved t-shirts. Good quality items that last!
