Tanya at Georgetown, DE Great Clips literally saved the day with my 2 year old. We got a botched hair cut (his very first hair cut) from a different salon in the area and she not only fixed what we thought was unfixable but gave him the cutest little hair cut and he was so comfortable with her. She gave him his first hair cut certificate and he left the happiest boy and I surely was relieved that we didn’t have to shave his hair to fix it and she was able to work her magic. She literally saved the day for us! Thank you so much!!

What a surprise treat it was to meet Sheena at Great Clips yesterday in Georgetown DE! I had some damage and she very kindly took me, did a dry cut which I asked for and perfectly blended in my color damaged hair (my fault). She listened carefully and did not criticize me for damage ...just fixed it with her years of experience. She knew just what to do. $19.00! A OK for simple layered bob. Thank you and I 'll be coming back!!! Great job Sheena!

Great Clips in Georgetown is my go to salon. It is no-nonsense, quick in and out, reasonable prices, all around great service. I have never been one to spend a lot of time or money on my hair…so Great Clips works perfectly for me.

I started coming here after I got a terrible chemical job done elsewhere and needed to gradually trim my hair every other month to ensure it grows out good. For the first couple months they did fine just trimming the bottom who could get that wrong, until one of the stylist then touched my layers and absolutely ruined it- luckily I went back and got someone else to fix it and thankfully she was able to. After that I let it keep growing until it got to the point where I needed my face framing touched up (curtain bangs) and then an inch off the bottom. All was great till I went home and noticed one side was an inches longer than the other! Therefore I went back and someone “fixed it” sent me back home and one side was still longer than the other and looked like a chunk was taken out of it and the other side looked more desireable- that being said I went to the Milford location and by the time I found someone who actually fixed it I lost 3+ inches of length and got put right back to square one. That being said this place is so hit or miss- maybe it’s my fault for going but you would think people who go through school would know what a simple face frame is, I would trust the homeless people in Walmart parking lot to cut my hair more then these people tbh. It seems they do mens cuts good, I mean fairly simple it would be insane if they messed that up. Below is the before and after the mess up- and the only reason it looks semi okay in the after photo is because I had to style it (which I never had to do before) and clip it back- totally insane and I’m not one to leave a bad review as I believe all things can be fixed but I shouldn’t have to be in a never ending cycle of unhappiness because people constantly mess up. I will say customer service is fairly good as they never had an issue with me coming back 4 times for a redo which is absurd- I wouldn’t of had to if it was done right. Now I have to wait until Christmas or later to like my hair again unfortunately I’m use to it-. So be cautious what you ask to get done here.
