I drove an hour to get there because it says you closed at 5. Called the bank the automated system said 5. Here I am 4:30 with the doors locked and no one in sight……….

I opened my account online, and I was locked out of mobile banking for about 3 days approximately. However, I went into the branch and the branch manager was on lunch. No biggie! So, the branch associate available named April was super kind, polite, and very, very professional. She helped me get back into online banking in less then 5 minutes, and she helped me set up my online access and made sure I got in before I walked out of the branch. She was absolutely phenomenal. Thank you April for helping me today, you we're absolutely fantastic! - Eric Adkins

Do not take a loan out from M&T Bank. We believe they have been involved in a fraudulent car loan with my grandfather and it has been almost impossible to try and talk with someone at M&T Bank who can help. Our relationship banker, Latoya Thompson, has not responded to emails, calls, or voicemails attempting to speak about this issue.My grandfather was old and did not fully understand his car loan situation when they gave him a $7,000 credit for his car that they values at $13,000 and then made him pay $5,000 in cash on top of that. I've included screenshots from his car loan documents.For a bank to have a checking account at M&T may be fine, but if you ever want to take out a loan or have a serious banking partner I would recommend NOT going here.

The absolute worst branch, and bank I’ve ever dealt with in 30 years. They have a severe culture problem with the way their employees treat customers. Then the bank blocks you from using your debit card at random about 7 times per month, because of their so called “fraud protection”. They don’t seem to care how embarrassing it is when you have several thousand dollars in your account, and they block a $7.99 charge at Wawa. The branch manager is a piece of work too. Asking me what I intend to do with money I have withdrawn. I’ll tell you what I intend to do SWITCH BANKS! What a horrible experience. I’ve been on hold with their customer service for 35 minutes as we speak. Oh, and thanks M & T for blocking my atm withdrawl on a holiday in which your customer service was closed.

The gross incompetence of this bank and "loan officers" nearly cost us our land settlement. Despite literally everyone I spoke to telling me NOT to use M&T bank, I had faith knowing that I had used this bank for nearly 25 years for my checking account. Nope, didn't matter to them. To say they let my family and I down would be an understatement. Not to mention months wasted for them to drop the ball without care, and now being impacted by huge inflation to build that could have avoided. We opted to use a different bank, you should too. Thanks so much Eric Bergstrom, Amanda Dill for absolutely nothing.

Great place 90% of the time smiles and always friendly. Wait time is very reasonable during there busy times. And custumor service is great.
