I liked the doctor. He did a good job examining my eyes and gave me some good advice. However, I will not go back because the quality of my eyeglasses was atrocious. These glasses cost me $900. Purchased in 2021. The arm fell off last night. These glasses were never right. The arm started wiggling very loosely about a month after I bought them. I’ve taken them back three times to be repaired. The first person who helped me told me they were bent, and nothing could be done. That happened twice. Honestly, for what I paid for them, they should’ve been replaced. I have worn glasses since I was five years old so I know how to take care of a pair of glasses. This came to me bent, I did not bend them. It was something in the hinge that was bent, not the arm or the glasses themselves. How does someone bend a hinge just by wearing glasses? I finally took them back for a third time and got a different person who was able to tighten them, although she also said they were bent. However, she was able to fix them and they were okay for about a year. Then last night the arm just fell off. $900 glasses lasted me two years and have always been problematic. These were Nine West, not some high end designer. When she told me the price, I actually thought she was kidding. I guess it was my fault for not finding out before finalizing the purchase how much they would cost. I won’t go back. So disappointing.

Office called to confirm appointment, I confirmed with the individual on the phone, when I arrived to the appointment the told me they gave my appointment to someone else because I didn’t confirm with the office? I showed the call to the person at the front desk and was still not able to be seen, if it was a mistake on their behalf they should of been up front about it.

My experience was great, the two ladies up front Katie and Daryan were so polite and helped me get the right fit glasses for what I needed. I highly recommend this place!

The staff were friendly and the appointment was very detailed but quick. We were in and out in no time. I highly recommend the Georgetown office!

This is a shack of an establishment, I arrieved to my 1:40 appointment at 1:50, as I live 30 minutes away and rainy day traffic. I was informed that since I was 10 minutes late we must cancel my appointment and reschedule a month later, will not be back here

They don't take insurance despite claiming they welcome all insurance, and they treated my wife like garbage by talking about her negatively while she was standing right there. Acting as if our Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware insurance was junk. Very disappointed with everything about this place, I'd recommend Delaware Eye Clinic, or America's Best for that matter.

Truly the worst office I've been to. Staff was rude and condescending. There's little to no communication from staff on orders. It also makes no sense to me as to why after a comprehensive eye exam you have to "tweak the prescription" when it was completely off.

Husband got prescription reading glasses from the Georgetown Store. One lense is suppose to be 20/20 and the other 20/30. He cannot read with these glasses at all. Called and the girl that answered the phone was extremely rude.

I’m from Seaford but got my appt here sooner than Seaford. Doctor and staff are very nice except the white lady helping with the frames. Frames are simple, no variation, small selection for medicaid, and in “brands” I don’t think they have a good taste in their selection. Gives the impression of old styles. But my main disappointment was the poor glass and eye exam. My whole family got our eye exam here so we all agreed that the dictor did NOT get our prescription right. My eye right is too way off from my left eye. I’m just going to pay in another place for another eye exam.

I wondered why there's never any parking in front of this business even first thing in the morning until today. I watched all the employees take all the closest parking spaces. How selfish and not very customer oriented. They should park at the back, allowing front parking for customers especially the elderly.

I'm from Seaford but I transferred at Georgetown to see if it's better than Seaford branch. But it's the same, worst employee and horrible service. They're are so focused on how to make a sale to an individual. That's it. And by the way, My husband and I went to Lenscrafters in Salisbury this morning (6/16/22). After I paid our bill, they handed to me my receipt for paying my copay and also my prescription. Yes my husband and I prescriptions. And they told us, we don't even need to get our eyeglasses from the people outside their office. How Bout that?. But with MyEyeDr. As soon as I got done for my eye exam. They told me to go out in the waiting area and wait so that I can choose what eyeglasses I have to get. Really, like really and wow!! Since I started going with Myeyedr, I didn't see my eye prescription AT ALL. And the lady that called me, they will not give it the clients unless we requested for it. Whoaaa... I'm disappointed and I am glad I went to Lenscrafters now.

My first and only visit here, wasn't too bad in itself. The lady who took me back seemed pretty content with her job, which to me personally, makes the experience of appointments better overall. So I aprreciated this as someone who has only been to they eye doctor 3 times total in my life. The doctor was quick and efficent, although I didn't feel completly heard when I was trying to to talk to him about my initial reason for going in there, which was a severe issue with sunlight that makes my eyes literally so watery and tired that I either A) have to sleep it off, or B) Pull my car over because they are pouring tears so bad I could no longer see. I didn't get to explain that, being as soon as I brought the issue up, I was met with "I usually tell people that they just need to wear sunglasses, because there is nothing I can do for that." My complaint with that was if there was maybe an OTC eyedrop or something, anything really, that might have helped. I can accept that, not everything is an issue they have a solution for. However I wear them IN my house, and in my car. This doesn't always help. It can be natural or artificial light that triggers this with my eyes. So basically, I wasn't as fully heard as I'd like to be, but that is okay because I don't need to go back for awhile, and there are other eye doctors that I can try. That aside, I was able to find a pair of glasses that worked, and upon check out had asked the lady how long it would take, she responded about a week. So fast forward to 8 days later, I call to check on the status of my glasses order, and immediately the RUDE lady on the phone with her attitude was like they usually come in, in about 2 weeks. So I explained to her in the same tone she gave me, that I had asked about how long they would take to come in, and was told about a week. Long story short, I have a serious problem with these nasty attitudes at doctors offices, and the fact that I'm always supposed to show empathy and understanding, when in return I get attitude, and unwanted sass. So like I said overall 3/5 starts and thats because this is typical attitudes pretty much throughout Georgetown. It could have been worse, but when I feel like an inconvience AT YOUR BUSINESS, where my insurance is paying for things, and helps to keep your business going, less attitude would be greatly appreciated. Good day.

The lady at the front counter was rude and I ordered 2 pairs of glasses and she only brought out 1 pair , I told here it was 2 pairs, finally the lady that help with buying my glasses found them. That lady working the desk is useless. She wouldn’t adjust my glasses and she was very rude.

My usual Dr was not available which because I have minor vision issues seemed like it should be okay to see an alternate professional. Mistake, mistake, mistake. Upon entering the store it was cold both in temp and personality. The reception folks had a difficult time understanding that I no longer have vision insurance and was planning to pay for the services by myself! I cannot be the first or the last but the woman spent 10-15 minutes looking this up. Nice ladies but...... I was then told to wait in the waiting area which was vacant. The assistant said come this way and took me to the glaucoma area and basically pointed at things without any explaining what, why, when. Interestingly neither the assistant nor the Dr. ever used my name during my visit and the exam proceeded in about that same vein. Never did get the Dr's actual name but he was well past his sell by date. Impersonal and impatient throughout the exam, I almost felt guilty taking up his time. After the short exam they pushed me on to the sales woman who was wrapped up in her winter coat and only interested in the sell. I too got cold and impatient, and left.
