This is a gem of a formal gown store! I walked in needing a last minute gown, and the owner knew exactly which dresses to pick. She knew my size without measuring me and quickly had eight dresses lined up for me to try. She was mindful of the event and the fact that I needed to be able to chase a toddler around. She took her time and checked the fit of each dress. My total time in the store— from stepping up to the counter to purchasing the dress— was only about 30 minutes. The whole time the owner was welcoming, warm, and treated me like family. I live out of state and happened to be in town but will happily return for another special event in the future.

This place is just perfect! My daughter bought both her prom dresses here and I can’t say enough about the family who runs it! I feel like they are my friends, so much so that we also rented my son’s tuxedo here. My husband doesn’t even mind going which says a lot. They have an amazing selection and fair priced!

The customer service is beyond amazing. The team did an amazing job of making sure my son prom tuxedo fit appropriately. They noticed his arm length wasn't quite long enough they was able to get it right within a few hours.

Hands down, this was the best dress shopping experience that my daughter and I have ever had!! The service and welcoming staff at Susan’s Boutique was by far the best we have ever had the pleasure of receiving. My teen daughter was elated when she found the perfect prom dress for her senior prom. Although the original dress that we ordered was size 4 and she is a size 2, Susan made sure to complete the alterations necessary in time for her prom. Susan’s Boutique is very budget friendly. I highly recommend Susan’s Boutique for dress shopping.

After months searching for a mother of the bride dress, I arrived at Susan’s Boutique 3 weeks before the wedding. Susan and her daughters were very welcoming, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived, even while being occupied with other patrons.I was asked what I was looking for and I told them. They showed me every type of dress I was looking for and a few others they thought would be a good fit.Needless to say, I found the dress. They were very informative about delivery time and alteration time. Fortunately, the dress was in stock. When it came in, I had a fitting and the alterations were done all in time for the wedding.I received many compliments on the dress. One compliment was that the dress was so elegant and beautiful, not like most frumpy mother of the bride dresses.I recommend Susan and her daughters for your special day.Thank you ladies?

Took my daughter here to get a prom dress and it was a wonderful experience for her! We had been to several other places and she was feeling very defeated and frustrated. As soon as she started looking through the racks, I could tell this was it! She was all smiles as she tried on the dresses. Susan and her staff were so nice and accommodating. They made her feel like a princess. She found the perfect dress and it was about half the cost of dresses from the other stores!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would!The ladies who run the shop are the best. Very knowledgeable and they helped my wife and I get everything together for our wedding outfits.They also work with local tailors/seamstresses at a very reasonable price.They have dresses and suits available for any occasion. We will be back!

Susan’s bridal was amazing to work with and far exceeded my expectations. I was an out of town bride looking to find a wedding dress off the rack. The process from beginning to end, including alterations was a smooth process. Michelle listened to my vision, addressed all my questions and made me feel comfortable. The staff were very kind, attentive, professional, and welcoming. They took care of all alterations and made the dress fit me like a glove. If you are looking for a dress in the Delaware area, this is your place to stop!

To start off I had the best experience here!! Michelle is absolutely amazing at her job and doesn't disappoint. I called ahead to make my bridal appointment and when I came in I was greeted with a warm welcome! Michelle asked for some inspo pics, then picked out the dresses I found from the site they use AND chose dresses she thought I might want to try on. All the while I got to pick out dresses I wanted to try on as well. I probably tried on 11 dresses? But it was worth it to find THE ONE! They take really good care of you here, making sure they get the correct measurements and that it gets to you on time (I had a destination wedding so I was stressed about getting it on time, but to my surprise it arrived earlier than expected!). This dress was also such good quality! It was sturdy and I never had to pull it up despite it being strapless! ANYWAY, to sum it up; Susan's is the place to go!

I needed a special-occasion tuxedo to rent after Carlton's in RB closed, and I was referred to Susan's Bridal Boutique, which offers the same options as Carlton's once did. Judith was a delight to work with, gave me excellent guidance and options, and worked around my scheduling needs for pickup and return. Everyone at the store was friendly and helpful. Despite the downtown location, free parking was plentiful. Other than the drive from RB to Georgetown, the whole experience was fabulous, and my tux with some holiday flourishes was a hit at my daughter's wedding. Highly recommend Susan's, ask for Judith!

1st time there for mother of the bride dress. Very pleasant,helpful, and knowledgeable. I had a few photos on my phone of a mixture of dresses. The woman pulled 7 dresses for me to try on. In less than an hour,I found the perfect dress in the exact color I wanted. Very professional, patient, and a wonderful experience! Gorgeous selections of dresses, for your special occasion.
