Terrible service. I’m switching to CVS. I recommend you all do the same. Walgreens is going out of business soon. Pharmacist is rude and incompetent. GO ELSEWHERE!

This review is just for the pharmacy, I haven’t had much, if any issues with general purchases.
I had been receiving a prescription from here every month for a neurological condition. Then, out of the blue, the pharmacy manager/ pharmacist denied my refill for 1. Saying a neurologist shouldn’t be prescribing this sort of medication a psychologist should?! and 2. They couldn’t contact my doctor ( who is impossible to contact she is very busy at a very busy hospital) it turned out they weren’t even calling her department but a general line. Anyway, the pharmacist decided to call me the day I ran out of the medication to tell me they weren’t honoring the refill. For some context I rely on this medication every day to ease my symptoms and it’s not a medication you can just stop taking without withdrawal symptoms ramping up. The pharmacist didn’t care and treated me like I was a drug addict. I’m just trying to take what was prescribed to me so I can have some quality of life. Whatever the pharmacists name was, he needs to be very much educated on the uses of this medication and the ramifications of a patient being cutoff. Very rude and very unprofessional. I had to scramble and find a CVS because they blacklisted me at all Walgreens over this medication I couldn’t believe it. What really sucks is I live and work so close to this Walgreens it made it very convenient to pick up my medications but now I have to go across town and a 20 minute ordeal now takes an hour. I’ve used Walgreens for any and all prescriptions up until this past summer and never will again even if I have to go out of my way to get them at CVS. They’d rather you suffer from withdraw and agony then let you explain yourself and fill a perfectly legal and documented prescription. Pathetic.

Im a cancer survivor and this pharmacy consistently manages to not have my prescriptions ready when stated, sometimes even when called. This has lead to me delaying pickup and having my order cancelled.I’m sitting here now after being told my prescription wasn’t filled yet but they were working on it only to watch the one pharmacist working leave for break (?) and now literally no one behind the counter appears to be filling drugs so where are my necesarry cancer meds Walgreens?Don’t go here

I walked up to the pharmacy counter at 5:55pm on a Friday, asking to receive COVID home tests covered by my insurance. I was told that unfortunately they could not accommodate me because they were closing in five minutes. No one else was in line. And they don't open again until Monday morning after I'll be at work. What????? So lazy and unprofessional.
