Love this place!!! I don’t shop anywhere else. Their selection of organic and healthy snack is great. Also the customer service is amazing as well, great staff! If I can buy local I will and this market has the most local selections in the area.

Hockessin Prices Harvest Market is in my neighborhood and seems to be very popular. Staff are friendly and the produce looked good. I hadn't shopped here in several years as I recalled the prices being outrageously high. But it was getting late and I was looking for a pack of bagels. Bought a pack of 4 bagels for $6.50. Perhaps I'll give them a try again in a few years. The place might be ok if you want organic food at any cost and really don't care about prices. If you don't mind paying 2X or 3X what it would cost at Trader Joe's or Aldi's then Harvest Market may be for you.

I love this market. It's a great local grocer with most everything you'd need. The bonus is they sell good healthy products. The staff are always nice. And you get discount for bringing own bag.

My family has shopped here for more than a decade. Through the pandemic they were great and did things to protect not only the public but their staff. They did so before it was even mandated by the governor. With that said I'm not sure what is happening behind the scenes but the way I have been recently treated is not cool. Just one example, having to call the store while I am physically in the store to get an employee to pay attention to me at the manager's desk is sad. An employee actually ignored me to answer the phone that was next to me on the wall. I told him it was me because I couldn't get an employee to help me. Online orders and people on the phone are more important than customers physically standing in their store. But what is even more insulting is having to leave multiple voicemails, emails and Facebook messages to track down a manager or the owner. This place does not respect long time customers because they don't care. They don't have to when your business is in Hockessin, you're going to make a lot of money when there is no competition. After repeated contacts to the store I finally spoke to the owner Bob. I was just offered apologies not action for what took place in his store. And in fact he almost sided with his staff by telling me I should call during business hours. Sorry your customers' lives are not always conducive with your hours. So, don't offer voicemail, email and Facebook messages if you're not going to check them. I have first responders in my family who work rotating 12-hour shifts, they don't have time to play these games. The customer service has seriously declined and I feel the owner cares about money more than people. Another example of that is they don't support anything local in Delaware. With the amount of events, nonprofits, farmers markets all they do is give attention to what is happening in Pennsylvania. Because they want to bring in that Pennsylvania money since they are basically on the state line.I was originally at the store to purchase some on-tap kombucha, which is located behind the manager's desk. So, you need the assistance of an employee. They were able to fill 1/2 my bottle before that flavor emptied. But instead of just charging me for what was in the bottle, they threw it out because they said it would mess up their inventory. What? Seriously? They rather throw out a product than make half the money from it and make the customer happy? And they claim that they are so eco-friendly? FYI, That decision was made by their manager Laura. After the entire incident I emailed, left voicemails but couldn't get an employee to return any of them. So, on a Sunday evening I called and Laura answered the phone. Towards the end of the conversation she actually told me maybe I should go somewhere else. She made the mistake and Bob even apologized for it when I finally talked to him yet she is going to tell me to shop somewhere else? So insulting. Also, take note of how many black people actually work there. I sadly never noticed until a black friend of mine stated that the owner doesn't hire black people. I can't confirm or deny that but my eyes tell me they are not "inclusive."If my 1st or 2nd call was returned and my time was respected I wouldn't be leaving this review. I will not fall for their marketing/rebranding. I don't want to financially support an organization like this that is basically smoke and mirrors at the end of the day. Sadly, there are still some things I will come in for because I can't find them anywhere else. But they will not be getting the thousands of dollars that we've annually spent there. So absolutely disappointed with this entire situation and that's why I haven't been there in for more than a month. All they had to do was return one of the five times I contacted their store, offer an apology and maybe a free kombucha. All of this over less than $4... principles matter. Hope it was worth it Bob.P.S. When in the store check out their pre-made fo
