I love this branch- Carole S. is the best!!! She’s helped me dispute fraudulent charges multiple times and got my new card expedited same-day. She always has my back and goes above and beyond to help even when she’s clearly busy and I just walked-in. I always dread calling big companies because of the wait time but directly going through the Hockessin branch makes calling, emailing, or visiting a breeze. And I finally got a customized card😊 thanks so much Carole🫶🏽

Scheduled an appointment online with Richard to open a business account. My husband and I left work early for this appointment. He was on vacation and never turned off his scheduler. A bank employee told me, “Sorry, it’s been happening all week!” Since he had all my information I thought he would apologize when he returned. He did not. No one else at the bank could help us that day.

I have tried to give this branch a chance despite of the negative reviews. However, they failed three times on different occasions. Horrible customer service. They lack knowledge of their product and services, and slow with everything. The attitudes and personalities at this branch is Completely terrible. This branch needs a workshop on team building and positive attitudes because they clearly don’t have it. I would never step foot in this branch again. This site needs to be completely restructure with a whole new staff. Most importantly, the manager of this branch should read these negative reviews and try to educate his/her employees on customer service. A team is only as good as the manager.

I don't understand why for going back 8 years they have awful reviews and they have done nothing about it to make their reviews better or to train their staff better on customer service. If after 8 years you still don't get it there's something wrong how can you still be in business

Horrible customer service. Waited 20 minutes for teller to run it passed a manager to withdrawal from my account because they didn’t realize it was a Delaware State Identification card and were hung up on the fact it is not a license. Train your people better.

I have had good experiences here. I never have to wait long, even if I wait a minute or two they apologize for the wait. Lisa the head teller is a problem solver and really knows her job. I'd give her 5 stars. I think the roominess of the drive thru is also nice.

Horrible! The “Head Teller†doesn't have a decent customer service bone in her body! She didn't even smile at or greet me. She refused to help me sign up for direct deposit for my new job claiming “tellers can't do that.†when I have done that at several branches with a teller in the past. Rude!

I'm giggling at these negative reviews. I've been doing business with the same crew at M&T going back to when they were Wilmington Trust. They are always kind, friendly and competent. I am always greeted with an enthusiastic "hello" and an occasional exchange of jokes. The newest additions to the staff are just as friendly.
