“The Hockessin Ace Hardware store is no doubt the best in this area. The store is clean and well stocked, especially the people there. They are the best of the best. They bend backward to help everyone. My kind of store.”

“Having a reliable paint supplier is very important, and Sherwin-Williams in Hockessin has been a great experience. They carry an excellent selection of professional-grade paints, primers, coatings, and supplies for different types of residential and commercial projects. Kyle provided excellent customer service and was knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful with product selection. He took the time to make sure I had the right materials for the job without wasting time. The store is organized, well stocked, and convenient when you need to get in, get your materials, and get back to the jobsite. I am very satisfied with both the products and the service I received. This location will definitely be one of my go-to paint stores for future client projects.”

“I called about getting a spare key for my car made. Neil answered the phone and answered all questions. I was asking quite a few questions and he was super patient and nice. If they hire workers like Neil, then you know the place is run very well. Thank you so much! :)”

“I have been going to Ricardi Bros. For as long as it has been at that location also previously when it was Shinn’s. Although the store name had changed, the helpful and courteous attention that Byron gives has not. As I stated, I’ve been going there for years and he has been there from the first day I entered the store. He goes out of his way to help you from wallpaper, paint, tools, etc. I immediately look for him when I enter the store. He is a huge asset to your company and me!”

“The day got away from me working on my project. Before i knew it the my local store was a half hour away from closing. I placed an online order 30 minutes before closing and took a chance and called the store to see if it was a remote possibility of getting a tinted gallon of paint. I have been in retail over 30 years and i won't go to any place 30 minutes before closing. It's my thing. I called and I was completely fine with picking the gallon of paint up the next morning but i wanted to try to paint that evening, again i lost tract of time. Unfortunately, i did not get the sales associate's name but he was so unbelievably helpful and offered to even stay past closing so i could receive my paint. I had no parts of that cause i would not want anyone to stay past closing. Fortunately i live 10 minutes from the store and made it there 5 minutes before close and received my paint. The customer service was amazing! This is how l've been treated for more than 20 years from Sherwin’ awesome stuff! Thank you so much!”

“We are in the process of moving out of state to Texas and needed our condo down there painted. Not only did Megan help with our color palette, she helped make the process of having paint picked up in another state so easy! We’ve always used SW paint but now we’ll only deal with Megan!”

“I sometimes go out of my way to go to this store for paint. The staff is helpful and pleasant. If you have questions about what kind of paint you need you’re likely to get much better assistance here versus Home Depot or Lowes.”

“If you're in the market for paint, don’t overthink it and go to Sherwin-Williams! This place isn't just a store; it's a magical kingdom of colors. I walked in expecting to find some paint and maybe a brush or two, but I walked out feeling like I would paint my whole house. Now, let me tell you about Evan. This guy knows more about paint than anyone I’ve ever met. Seriously, if there were a Paint Olympics, Evan would bring home the gold. I had questions about undertones and finishes, and Evan answered them like he was narrating a paint-themed TED Talk. His knowledge is encyclopedic, his passion is contagious, and his recommendations are spot on. I left with the perfect shade of pink for my baby girl’s room (and trust me, we tried quite a few different ones from the local big box store). If you're still reading this review, stop. Go see Evan at Sherwin Williams. Your walls will thank you.”

“Used PPG epoxy on my garage floor, this finish has seen a ton of traffic in the 10 months it has been down. Just swept and mopped for the first time and looks brand new. Had Ed S set me up with everything I need and he have me great directions to do myself. Very knowledgeable staff and great product”

“Great place for all of your painting supplies and advice. Used to not be a believer in the difference between paint brands until I tried Sherwin Williams Super Paint. Well worth the extra cost for the service and quality of the product at the SW store.”

“Wanted to share that Chris and the team at this store in Stanton, Delaware were phenomenal. He helped identify a perfect color match for a circa 1970s Honda SL100 motorcycle candy ruby red metallic color. And it was used with the Fastline FA3PSG grey primer and FA72KCG 2k clearcoat. The SprayMax 1k FillClean 368 2071 color from Peter Kwansy was splendid. Prepared there at the store and filled in a spray aerosol can. The result in the base clear process turned out beautifully. The FG712 glaze also helped to get a great working surface for final preparation and painting. I can’t thank Chris and the team there enough for their help and guidance.”
