I like to support local businesses. I needed copies of keys before I left town. I went to ACE Lewes to have two copies of two keys. When I came home, not one new key fit in the lock.

The staff at Best's Ace Hardware in Lewes, DE, are awesome. I am not a person who is handy, and a trip to the hardware store is not an occasion for fun, for me. If you go to the big hardware stores in town...forget about getting any help before your next birthday. At Ace, I am always greeted and asked if I need any help as soon as I go in the door. And I always do need help! I surely need to take a moment to specifically call out one of the managers ,Sheila. She, like several employees here, have been working cheerfully here for a very long time, and they are always super helpful. I just ordered a big ticket item they had competing with Amazon during Prime Days and something happened and it was no longer available... but they called promptly and offered me another color that wasn't on sale at the same price. Now THAT'S 5-star service!

Have just about everything you really need for any project. And I’m also going to support locally owned businesses. Easier to park and shop than the big box guys. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff

I just had one of the best experiences at this Ace Hardware. Upon entering the store Collen asked if I needed help. I was looking for a Grass trimmer, and we found the one I was interested in. She made sure we opened the box to inspect everything was in the box. Afterwards, I asked her a couple of other questions she gave me fantastic recommendations and showed me what she had to offer there at the store. At check out Marine helped me out and help get a new Ace hardware rewards card. I couldn't of ask for a nicer response from everyone at the Ace Hardwear in Lewes.

Good store good staff good prices, but the website sucks, is supposed to show what's in stock and it does not work which means to find out, one has to drive there to discover since they only rarely are available to answer the phone.

Have you been to ACE Hardware in Lewes? The store has expanded and is very nice. Store is clean and very easy to find items. Found what I was looking for easily that the other stores did not have in stock.
