Nice selection and they DO NOT tack on a fee for using a credit card.

I don’t even drink alcohol. I stopped in just because I was on my walk and grabbed a bottle of water. Not only was I carded but she proceeded to examine my id as if it was fake. I am a 42 year old woman. But I’m also African American so take that as you will. I never play the race card ever but this was a very interesting interaction.

Friendly staff and good selection. Prices are better than other stores in the area. People who complain about price are probably out of town. It’s a resort area so they should expect the prices to be similar to other resort areas. Lewes/ Rehoboth are expensive areas, it’s always been that way, and I’ve lived here 31 years. You want cheaper liquor, drive the 30 minutes to Milford or Millsboro. You’ll save 10 bucks on the liquor but spend it on gas.

One of the best wine selection in the area. The rose is worth the trip. They also have a section of bargain 90 point bottles. In addition they have wine from many different states including some of my favorites from Virginia.

One and done: I will never shop at this store again. Not only was I stalked while looking for one particular wine but the staff was extremely rude. There is an appropriate way to approach and talk to a customer. The staff needs training and also needs to make it a point to learn the types of wines sold in the store.

If you think yer getting a good deal by not paying sales tax in DE. here is a price comparison made from a recent purchase at Cape Wine and Spirits to Total Wine and Beverage in Virginia.
Baileys 750 ml $31.60 at Cape. $21.49 at Total Wine.
Titos 1 liter $27.80 at Cape $18.99 at Total Wine
Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey $27.60 at Cape $23.99 at Total Wine.
Selection is great though and prices may be similar to other Delaware liquor outlets, not sure.
