Dogfish Inn is a delightful experience, from start to end! The location is unbeatable, the staff is fun and super helpful, the rooms are thoughtfully designed and everything smells divine. The little details - like the in-shower beer cozies, comfy beds, free bikes and great coffee - truly make this place special. Can't wait to return!

Amazing property with all of the little details thought out! Super comfortable beds, nice showers, and well designed rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly and the location is perfect right in downtown Lewes! One of my favorite places to stay!

Visiting for my second time in a few years and wow, if I thought there was attention to detail on the last trip, I didn't know what I was talking about! Now there are even more tiny details that have been considered and made more thoughtful for your stay here. It was quiet and felt safe, there were warm lights inside and a fire in the gathering space plus so many things in the area to walk to and see and do! My favorite thing to do when traveling is to find small gifts and trinkets to take back to my friends and family and there are so many affordable and unique items in the rooms and shop that you don't even have to go out of your way to find something wonderful to take home to remember your trip! PS don't forget to try the beer and cocktails in a can!

My wife and I wanted to do something special for our 10th anniversary, so we booked a room at Dogfish Inn for our anniversary weekend. The experience was so nice, we requested to stay an extra night.
Everyone we encountered in the Cottage were very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The room was extremely comfortable and well-appointed, and the location was perfect for walking around and taking in all that Lewes has to offer.
The Inn is close to the other Delaware beaches, which make heading out for a day of shopping the outlets, walking the boardwalk, or enjoying some tasty libations from the craft breweries quick and easy.
Everything about the Inn made our weekend one to remember, but the one thing that really stood out was being able to sit around the firepit in the evening, and enjoy some great beer, wine, and conversation. We will definitely be returning in the future.

My hubby, I, and our dog stayed here for two nights and loved it. It has such a great vibe and the location cannot be beat. Just a super short walk to the beach and located right in the historic section of Lewes. We used their bikes and rode through the state park and along the water. It was perfect. Love the beer soap in the room! We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms: Very comfortable beds. Surprisingly quiet. Dude upstairs was a bit heavy footed.
Walkability: Level. Watch out for the cobblestone sidewalks. Lots close by.
Food and drinks: The area has lots of great places to choose from. Everyone was very friendly.
Noteworthy details: The staff was extremely accommodating. Turned on the fire pit for us and popped some popcorn. Happy customers. The lounge is very cozy with fireplace and games.

We've been staying here for the Dogfish Dash since 2016. The staff is the best, the inn is beautiful, and the location in Lewes is perfect.

Loved this little hotel sitting right on the river! Staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make you feel welcome! Would absolutely stay here again!
Rooms: Room was very nice & clean. Comfortable beds! They supplied you with beach amenities.
Nearby activities: Close to many shops, restaurants, parks & ferry.
Safety: Absolutely safe!
Walkability: So close to everything in downtown Lewes!

This was a great find for us, with very cool vibes and atmosphere - inside and out! Main compliment is for Colleen at the Innkeeper reception desk . . . she was so friendly and helpful to us, especially in getting a last-minute, one-night stay. It was a very unlikely scenario, on Friday night of Labor Day Weekend 2024, but the stars aligned (with their reserved guest's arrival delayed until Saturday morning) and everything worked out for us and the Dogfish Inn. Next time we will book well in advance, and take the opportunity to use their bicycles to explore the many bike paths in the area. (We hope Colleen is there, when we return!) We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the SWEET a few weekends ago. It’s a beautiful room with a ton of space and a super comfortable, homey feeling. The staff is simply the best and is super helpful and welcoming. I do miss the cold brew they used to have, but the coffee is very good. We loved taking the bikes around town, including to the beach, and roasting smores on the fire in the evening. We have a long history with DFH, as members of our family have been going to the brewpub since day 1 and we had our rehearsal dinner at Chesapeake and Maine. And now, we love staying at the INN! Everything at DFH is top quality and the INN is no different. Thanks for a great stay.

The rooms were very clean, and the Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Located within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an excellent time at Dogfish Inn! Great hotel for families, near restaurants, beach and the staff is just beyond kind :) Can't wait to come back!
