You can get good literature here for fifty cents! I got Wicked at that price. My mother called this place ‘shopping paradise’. It’s nice to think about getting something and knowing it’s completely unique. It’s good for buying quality products on the cheap. The poorest person in America could buy more than half a college education from the section with school books for less than ten dollars.

I have donated many items here over the past few years. I did so to support the Habitat for Humanity and also donate nice items that those less fortunate could afford to buy. It was a win-win. However, I stopped in today and the prices are very high. These are items that were 100% donated and for the purposes of helping others, and are now so over priced that no one who really needs it, can afford to buy it. For example, there was a bookshelf there that was in great condition put more in line with an Ikea type product. It was priced at $495! What? The volunteers are amazing and it is well run, but the pricing needs to be at a point where those in need can come there and get items for their home and family.

We just moved into a Lewes temporary apartment that is much bigger than our New York place. So we need some extra furniture. This is the nicest, best organized thrift store I have ever been in. Plenty of room in the aisles. And the volunteer staff is wonderful! All for a good cause.

While this location is in a warehouse, 5 stars because you know this going in, so you can't fault the concrete floor that is pribsbly dirty. But it wasn't full of dust or cobwebs, on the contrary, furniture, pictures, household items, ceiling lighting, books... all were dust free. The furniture was well organized and displayed. There was clear organization as to where items were located. I was particularly impressed with the books. Not only can you not beat the price, but they are all organized by category, and some by author within the category! As a person who shops second-hand books very often, I've never experienced this level of book organization in any other thrift store. We encountered three staff members here (at least 2 were volunteers, unsure of the 3rd), and all 3 were friendly and helpful. I will definitely add this place to my list of places to include in my thrifty outings. My only disappointment was no public restroom. We drove an hour to get there and had coffee on the way. There is no place nearby to go in and use a restroom.
