I decreed a 3 star because of the lack of response to my request for assistance whilst replacing five 20+ year old smoke alarms. On the positive side (which I always prefer to do), Lowe's are set up pretty much the same among numerous locations across many states. The garden section in the Lewes Lowes had a far greater selection than does the one nearest my Gettysburg address ( I use that whenever I can) I heard and saw many birds flitting around and wondered 1. how they got inside, 2 how and whether there would get out, 3 whether they'd defecate on my balding head. Getting back to my smoke detector saga: the alarms in our Rehoboth condo are hard-wired, however our antediluvian units were discolored and unattractive in appearance, thus replacements were in order. I struggled to find a modern replacement for the elderly units, one of which I brought in. After struggling for about 15 minutes I asked an associate who was guarding the checkout aisles if he would kindly summon the cavalry for me. He unleashed his walkie talkie device from his utility belt and announced that a customer in aisle 7 was in need of help. I waited patiently and continued to try to figure things out all by myself, suffering in silence. After about 15 minutes the aisle guard must have picked up on my distressed visage and asked the obvious "Nobody's come yet?" to which I nodded in the affirmative, eyes dropping from my failure. He continued to guard the aisle for another 5 minutes, and then disappeared, never to be seen again. I had no assistance in aisle 7 despite what seemed to me to be an abundance of sales associates, seni-hurriedly going to presumably help other befuddled customers I ended up purchasing 5 new units with the hope that they'll function as useful replacements. If not, I'll need to exchange them and my saga will be continued below.

My oartner orderedocjs and we decided to use their service to bring it to the car. I went into store and after standing at service desk for several minutes, the woman working there finally asked me what I wanted. I told her, showed.her the order number and the credit xard my partner used and she refused to give it to me. Asked for store manager who fave me the order but the woman at the desk was rude and I told her I was going to complain to corporate abd she and the rest of the people working there just laughed in my face. Am returning the merchandise tomorrow and am going to Home Depot.

My family has shopped at this Lowe's for several years. It's had it's up and downs as all businesses do, but we've never been disappointed in their products or service, as some other reviewers have been. However, it appears there are homeless people living on the property. We asked an employee if this was, in fact, the case. The answer was yes and they've been there for months! Very disappointing to hear and we will, unfortunately, be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Ordered a garage door opener from Lowe's. They said they would install. I set up an appointment and waited all day. No show and no call. Rescheduled for the next week. No show and no call. Cancelled the order and found my own installer who actually showed up. Ordered a dishwasher on sale with installation. The sales person entered a wrong digit on the model number and the wrong dishwasher was sent. I refused it and they re-ordered the right model. Waited another two weeks, no call for installation. I called the installer who said they have the dishwasher but have not yet put me on their installation schedule. I must now wait another week hoping they will show up. In the future I will be replacing my stove and refrigerator and will definitely not even consider purchasing them from Lowe's. Worst Lowe's I've ever dealt with.

Worst Lowes I have ever shopped in. I had a heat gun go out, I tried to call to make sure I could return it, but I kept getting put on hold, for over 20 minutes and eventually just hung up on. So I took my chances and drove down to the store. Customer Service lady (Tina) was very nice, but when she need an manager approval it took them forever to get to customer service to help, I understand they may be busy at times but when they call for a manager and you can see him continually stopping and joking with employees on his casual stroll to customer service it's extremely frustrating. There was supposed to be several of the heat guns in stock, but none were on the shelf. I tried to find someone to help but was told no one was working in the paint department where the heat guns were stocked, went back to customer service to see if they could get someone, and they called for the manager again. I went back to paint to wait, after about half an hour I saw the same manager standing at the far side of the store laughing and joking again, finally just left and went to Ace Hardware - got what I needed and was headed home in less than 10 minutes. Ridiculous I wasted an entire morning replacing a tool on warranty.

It's one thing after another, and I'm done with them. No carts or flats available. Overflowing trash cans. Dirty merchandise thr0oughout the store. Dozens of baskets of return merchandise blocking access to merchandise for sale. Wilting and dead plants that obviously haven't seen water in days. Entire sections so out of order and untended that they looked like a riot had occurred. Then today: "Sorry, we can only cut Levelor blinds, not Allen and Roth." I've tried to cut the Sussex County store a break because I know it's hard to hire staff here, but so much of what I see wrong is just uncaring, unaware management. A feather dustere and a daily store walk would solve most of these issues. Shopping at Lowes is an unpeasant experience and the reason we shop increasingly online. I spend upwards of $10,000 a year on home and garden merchandise. I won't be returning.

Wow ! We came to buy two blinds . We met Randal . He was kind, thoughtful and unbelievably helpful. We had just left Home Depot. What difference!. Person there was not Randal . He wasn't into giving much information information and we would have had to wait two weeks . HD choices were more expensive too . Randal was great !

They don't answer the phone. And if by chance you're lucky enough to get someone to answer she either hangs up immediately or puts you on "hold" to find out what you're asking and never comes back to the phone. She's done this 5 times to me today. I just have a question I need answered. They are a nightmare.

Customer service is not a priority at this Lowes. Purchased 2 packs LED bulbs ($13.00 each). All 3 bulbs in one pack damaged. Made the trek through the horrific Lewes traffic to return them. Disgruntled employees at customer service refused to exchange the damaged merchandise but insisted I receive a credit on my card (which I now have to wait for) because “that’s not how we do things here”. When I asked for a manager, they said, “well, that’s going to take AHWILE”. As i walked away they continued to talk about me loudly to the remaining customers in line. Lowes must be desperate for help to allow such unprofessionalism be the face shown to the public at the service desk.

Purchased Appliances there . Waited a week for delivery and set up . Delivery came but they couldn't hook the appliances up because the salesman did not sell us a stacking kit or dryer cord . The hookup was rescheduled for a week later . I made the two hour drive to our vacation home and waited...... installers never showed up . Not only did they not show but we didn't receive a call or an excuse as to why . I called the store and was told they had put me on the schedule for the following day as a first stop to make up for the missed hookup . Again they never showed and never called . At this point I had taken off three days work for this install that never happened. Upon calling the store again I was told I was on schedule for that evening between 4-8pm . I advised them that time wouldn't work for me because I needed to return home for work the next day . I filed a complaint with corporate and was told a member of management would return my call within 24 hours . Needless to say o never heard from anyone. I called corporate a second then third time and have yet to receive a call from management. I'm very disappointed with the entire process that Lowes has . Customer Service was horrible and I would never recommend purchasing appliances from them .

We spent $2k on a new washer and dryer. Paid $170 for installation. The appliances were delivered on 1/16/2023, 2 weeks after they were ordered. THEN we were told that the delivery company could not hook up the dryer. Now we have to wait 2 more weeks for that. I will never shop at Lowes again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We needed wire cut. An associate was called twice and no one came. After over 30 minutes of waiting and a line forming we asked if we could just cut it ourselves so we could get what we needed and go. They said an associate needed to cut for us... ok then send someone this is ridiculous. Their customers service is terrible. Cutting wire requires zero skill. Their selection is absolutely atrocious as well. I would not recommend coming here just go to Home Depot

The worst customer service I have ever had. Trying to contact the Store Manager ( that no one seems to know the name of) and was juggled and on phone for an hour. Still haven't gotten connected. Just trying to have an installation problem solved and it's taken almost 2 weeks. No One is around, no one taking responsibility. Beware! Free installation is not free. But trying to remedy the issue is another job. No one from store calls you back. Had no problem taking my money for the sale, though. Yep.. very annoyed, frustrated with store, support team and installer.

Amazing and wonderful service from Erin and Randall with buying my first brand new appliances. I have anxiety and they both made me feel at ease and really shopped around for me. Thank you both!
