Had an excellent experience with Rite Aid Savannah Rd. Called earlier in the day looking for a medication. Pharmacist was ver knowledgeable. Medication was available and was filled in a few hours. At pick up I arrived at 5 min to closing. Pharmacist who was working alone at the time, took the time to correct my insurance with a smile and cheerful attitude. The pharmacist stayed after closing to process my order, figure out my insurance, and the other staff was super friendly in helping with another question.

Terrible experience. Our prescription was called into pharmacy at 10am. Nobody answered the phone when we called ahead to inquire about a pick up time. We showed up at 5pm and it wasn't ready. The pharmacy assistant huffy about it and told us it would take 30 minutes fill and made us feel like jerks when we told them we tried calling and nobody answered. We left and came about 15-20min later in hope that it was ready and the assistant threw a hissy fit and said "I have a right not to be interrupted". Script was literally just a blister pack of common anti nausea med, nothing special needed at all. Totally inappropriate experience and will avoid Rite Aid at all cost.

I paid for my prescription online and marked it for shipping. They didn't ship it, its been a week. They did the same thing last time and I got a district manager involved. She said she would fix it. The woman on the phone today just to let you know for next time... I cut her off and let her know there won't be a next time with rite aid. Especially now where pharmacies are closing down all around the country they would be on top of things.

Good location if you are going to the beach. The store is a bit dark and drab. Small. Limited inventory in my opinion. Semi-friendly staff.

Please close. You are a disservice to the community. Your staff in the retail side are rude and offer no help , you have a phone that seems to never be operational and a pharmacy (while staffed with the most amazing people I've ever worked with) that is never open and is unable to be reached. Even in the case of an emergency. You are responsible for the services you provide and are clearly unable to do the right thing. Please close or move to a location that you can properly operate.

We just left the Rite Aid on Savannah Rd with the very best experience in the Pharmacy department. The friendly greeting through the front door was the first impression of pleasant customer service, and the attentiveness and personal interactions in obtaining the COVID and flu vaccines were the best yet. We've been to several pharmacies in 2 other states, and hadn't had the amazing service we had this day. Thank you!!

The pharmacy has earned a 0, in recent months. It used to be a 5, but they changed their personnel. This store is an excellent example of why Rite Aid is going out of business. It's extremely poor customer service and lack of ability to answer the phone has earned this rating. I'm sure this will generate a corporate response asking me to do something, instead of an actual person from the store trying to correct their error and inability to interact with actual customers.

If you need to pick up a prescription, make sure it not on a weekend. You can buy all the merchandise you want, but the pharmacy department is closed, every weekend. Absurd and unheard of. Had prescription transferred from out of state and was never notified that they would be closed over the weekend,despite several communications with the pharmacy department. Their opening voice message does not state this either. So if you want a tacky t-shirt or an overpriced souvenir, you can do so here. However, if you want a prescription, it's a no go. No prescription...from a pharmacy, the intended purpose of such a store. One star, only because it's necessary to post a review.
