Seafood dept closed very often , deli closes at random hours . Shelves are pretty sparse . Items don’t come back in stock . One cashier most times How about hiring people !!??

Every time I go to the Scme I know that I have to check everything out before I leave the store. Last week it was not getting a coupon deducted. The Monopoly game is a rip off. Although they advertise 5% off for seniors on Tuesdays you have to ask for it.

Pick up is hands down the best in the area. My order is always spot on. Today I received a text message with a picture of the frozen pops case because they were out of the pops I specifically asked for. The Associate asked me to choose a substitute. Earlier this week I couldn't get to the store during the day. When I arrived at 8:16pm I read that the order was canceled after 8pm. I called the store and the gentleman was so nice and advised that he had my order and he was bringing it right out. I used Walmart grocery pickup prior to the pandemic and it became an issue with every order. I've had only great experiences with Acme and will continue to use them going forward.

Excellent pharmacy. They always have my prescriptions ready before the quoted time, and the pharmacist is one of the nicest people I've met. The only reason I ever come to Acme is because of this pharmacy and pharmacist. I transferred from CVS, where they were rude and always made me come inside and wait 30 mins to re-ring GoodRx coupons. This pharmacy doesn't play those games.

I use to be a huge Acme fan, I shopped the Middletown, de store every week since we moved here in 2017 until last week. The middletown store is 6.9 miles from our home in Warwick, Md And it has a pharmacy so how convenient right ? Last week the Pharmacy called to say it will no longer fill my husbands Rx’s bc “it’s too much of a hassle” I’m assuming bc of the medicines he takes. I’m Incredibly angry & frankly dumbfounded. He has been taking the same meds for more than 18

Jocelyn at the Middletown, DE store hired my son and told him he would receive an orientation call weeks ago. 3 calls have been made to her with messages and once he actually got her on the phone. She said she would again call him back with the orientation schedule. No call. Needless to say, my son will be going elsewhere for work. He is 17 and this would have been his first paycheck job. I have kept my mouth closed as he is almost an adult, but now I’m upset. Who treats their employees this way before even orientation? They have lost who would be a good employee and long time customers. I hope someone shares this with Jocelyn so that she does not continue to handle business in this manner. I should add that an email has also been sent to corporate. No reply thus far..Shocking.

I am always pleased when I leave the Acme in Middletown. The store is clean and well stocked so I usually find things that other stores do not carry. The employees are friendly and always help me find items. It really has not always been like this but the store seems to be getting better the last few months I have shopped there. I live in Elkton and will pass 2 other Acme stores to get to this one. Great job and keep it up!

This store is falling apart. They leave trash and debris all over their rear parking lot and now the dumpsters are leaking sewage all over. The smell has been going through our whole neighborhood for weeks now!

This has to be one of the worst grocery stores in DE. The shelves are not regularly stocked; there is no variety; they don't get new stuff- it's the same old same old. Middletown needs a Wegmans. The people here would see what a real grocery store looks like. I guess we need to drive further and go to ShopRite. Whatever you do, don't buy meat at acme. Twice I made that mistake and there was an older tag under the recent tag and the meat smelled terrible. In the garbage it went. I world give it 0 stars if I could.
