I would also give this store 0 stars if it was possible. This may be the single worst run facility I’ve ever visited; pharmacy, convenience store, or otherwise. The customer service is abhorrent, the pharmacy is often out of medicine or rarely fills prescriptions in a timely manner, even after receiving permission, and forces customers to come back to pick up items multiple times due to their inconsistent prescription-filling practices. To this end, and this is just the most recent occurrence, my wife was at the pharmacy last night, waited in line for nearly 30 minutes, only to find that her prescription had not been filled, despite receiving an automated phone call that the prescription had been filled. They asked her if she wanted it filled and if she was willing to wait 20 minutes. She told them to fill it but she couldn’t wait. I came to pick up the prescription today, some 20 hours later, and pulled into the drive thru. After sitting at the window for nearly 15 minutes, after waiting in a line of cars for 15 additional minutes, I was asked to come inside because they “didn’t have enough staff” working today. I go inside and there are eight people working in the pharmacy. I get to the counter after they turned two of the people in front of me away because they didn’t have their meds, and after I give my wife’s information, they proceed to tell me that they still haven’t filled the prescription! What an absolute joke of an establishment.Use ANYWHERE else in Middletown to fill your prescriptions if at all possible!

Biggest FRAUD PHARMACY. they send you notifications that your prescriptions are READY to pick up and they’re NOT READY. I’ve had multiple notifications saying ready. Drove 20mins for it to be on BACKORDER. When you ask when med will be available they say, “I don’t know, nationwide shortage” then my prescriptions expire! I have to call MD for whole new script and call around to see who does have it in stock. They lie to make it appear they’re meeting a quota and say meds are ready when indeed they are NOT. To fool the system and appear to be filling prescriptions in a timely matter. Also took THREE days to fill a RESCUE INHALER. Don’t go if you need an epi pen. You’ll be dead waiting on it here! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Had shoulder surgery a few months ago and it took them 2 days to fill my pain meds, then it took a week on one of the refills. Last week I was notified that one of my scripts (not pain meds) that I take all year was just canceled by them. No phone call or explanation. If you go in to pick up your meds make sure you have an hour to burn. If you question them on why it’s taking so long be prepared to be treated like total garbage.

My Daughter has an ear infection has boogers coming out of her eye, I go in for a prescription and get told that they “don’t have it “ I called the medical center and they said that they have the prescription yet they still won’t fill the prescription. Horrible service do not get prescriptions filled here.

I wanted to drop off unwanted prescription drugs. The box was full. I went 2 days in a row & it still is too full for me to leave my drugs there. When I told the pharmacy they told me they were too busy to empty it. I thought I was a customer too.

came here three times for vaccine appointments. the first two times the pharmacist was a friendly guy who helped me promptly. the third time it was a different pharmacist who checked me in, before allowing me to rot in the waiting section for thirty minutes while helping every new person who walked up. ended up leaving without my vaccine. I do not normally leave negative reviews. But something needs to be done at this CVS. Many of us are required to come here because of insurance. And it is ridiculously awful. If I need to pick up a script, I have to literally set aside at least an hour because *every time* there is a horrendously long wait in the drive thru and the design of the building is that once you are in line you are trapped. No way to pull your car out. As we speak, there are only 2 cars ahead of me but the first car has been at the window for *20 minutes and counting * instead of being asked to pull around. This happens *all the time* here. It is not just incompetent of the staff to not ask customers to pull around if they don’t have their scripts ready. It is extremely rude. Having a son with significant medical needs, I should not have to sit for an hour multiple times a month to get his medicines.

Do not. And I cannot emphasize this enough. Do not go here. They will not get your medicine in time. It is worth driving an extra 2,037,773 mins than to try to get this pharmacy to do something competent. They will not update you if a medicine cannot be filled. Need the medicine and this CVS does not have it (even if they “ordered” it a few days ago)? Too bad.

I am hesitant to even give this place 1 star for poor service. They don't deserve a star. You can't even talk to a live person anymore, you have to leave them a message and they don't call you back 3 days later. The person I talked to said they're shorthanded and they didn't have a person to check voicemail. He told me my son's prescription were ready for pick up but yet when we showed up the next day, they were not ready.
