My wife and I love this store. I had a great experience this weekend with Jay and Ash buying a tool storage workbench. I generally find that Home Depot has more knowledgeable staff then their competitors and I can't recall ever having a poor interaction with the staff. That being said, Jay and Ash really went above and beyond for me on Saturday. After sharing my experience this weekend with my wife, she told me we are only "allowed" to shop at Home Depot from now on. :) Thanks Jay and Ash!

Do not buy appliances here!! Wayne in the appliance department switched the fridge we wanted to a different refrigerator without our consent. Now the refrigerator we wanted has increased in price and we are forced to pay hundreds more for the same refrigerator we wanted because the employee decided to switch it without our knowledge. The store manager and assistant manager refused to help other than telling us to return the refrigerator. The refrigerator we wanted was significantly more expensive than the one he switched our order out with therefore we paid a lot more money for the refrigerator that we recieved than it costs for that refrigerator. We were blamed for not double checking that he put the correct model number even though we physically walked him to the exact refrigerator we wanted multiple times and he assured us that that was the one we would get. The store would not match the price and said they could not look up how much the price was less than 2 weeks ago, yeah right. Definitely better off going to lowes and avoiding this sketchy situation! Home depot did not want to help rectify this situation whatsoever. Horrible service

Considering my husband spoke to the store assistant manager several times who told him she was speaking on behalf of the store manager, and we were told by her that the employee admitted to purposefully swapping our fridge model out to align with a promotion going on, yet we were still put at blame even after we told you guys to check cameras to the exact date and time we gave you multiple times and you refused to do so, I do not believe filling a form out will rectify the situation. Asking for the correct item we purchased for the correct price we purchased it at was too big of an ask apparently. I would just like to warn others and give a big shout out to lowes across the street who actually helped fix our situation that home depot created. Thanks.

Just reviewing the garden center. WOW! Anything you can think of for the garden or landscaping project, they have it. And the plants and flowers were all excellently maintained. Worth the trip. We have home depots near us, but travelled an hour to get here.

The was a rude woman with a southern accent when I was trying to check out bags of concrete. She told me a different price then was listed and said that's not what was listed. She said obviously you can't see right or it must be your handicap. And yes I'm handicapped. I asked if she could get someone to help me get the right bags of concrete because they are heavy and wad told to exchange them myself. I threw them in the middle of the floor and went to Lowes. I'll never come here again.

Bought a dryer with installation, was delivered but the crew did not have the right part, so we have to reschedule installation. No one on the crew spoke english, had to call an interpreter. Home Depot tried to blame the delivery company, but they are the ones who hired the delivery company. They told us to buy the part and they would return to install. Rescheduled for two days later, Saturday Feb 17. Got a call telling me the truck got stuck and can't be towed for a number of hours, so we have to reschedule. Of course they do not deliver on a sunday or holiday monday, so we now have to wait until Tuesday. Have no confidence they will show up. Next time try lowes.

On Feb. 6th, 2024 I discovered that the Middletown, DE HomeDepot had some 50gal Rheem Propane Power Vent water heaters in stock that were totally unavailable in all other area's stores or even online. I ordered one, then two neighbors wanted the same. So we drove to the MIddletown store to pick them up. Delores and Dee at the Service desk were so helpful converting my single online order to one for three to pickup and Carl, Jay, Abe were most helpful and caring loading these 3 tall and heavvy boxes on my pickup truck. Great Store and excellent Customer Service.

The washers and dryers they sell here r absolutely garbage. Working in the industrial laundry industry now opens my eyes to how good those machines r built and how bad these r built. If u r in need of a washer get a speed queen, milnor or unimac. Anything but basic appliances. Looks don’t always mean functionality. This review has nothing to do with the store but trying to steer people clear of bad clothes grinders ?. Don’t even try to buy a balloon their because it will be popped before u check out by security
