Do yourself a favor and don't use Home Depot for appliances or anything on the exterior of your home. After 3 bad experiences with dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator, we thought we were done with them. Then we saw a deal on window replacement. We called and they sent a guy out. We had 4 windows that were leaking and needed to be replaced. We received a quote, put a deposit down and scheduled. The measurement guy came out, a week later we had an install date. Great? Nope! A week before the 8am install they text, no call and say they will be there but need a 9:49a-11:49a arrival time. No Show, No Call. At 10:30 someone callsme to ask me how the installation is going. After I explained, they said I should have received a call. I found a number for the exterior installation and called them. They called all of the regional managers but no one answered the phone. I called the Middletown Store and they were completely unhelpful. The manager was out to lunch but they would have him call me back...no call. The Regional Manager called me at 12:00 to say the crew was on another job and that he would call them and call me back. He never called. The installer called me at 12:40p and told me that he was in Claymont that he was on an earlier job and would be to me in an hour. He also said he might not finish the job today, thus making it a problem with rain in the forecast. He was supposed to call the regional manager and call me back. Still no word from Home Depot.DON'T make the same mistake I did.

I ordered 30 bags of soil and a raised bed a month ago. The raised bed is still not at the store . I went to pick up the soil and there was nobody available to load it. Another small item I ordered I couldn't get because it "was with the soil". (?)The lady who brought one item I did get was apologetic and very nice.I understand these are difficult times. But maybe they need to have more employees available to fulfill pick-up orders.

Home Depot has treated me in the worst way. I purchased a washer and dryer set 3 WEEKS AGO, with the promise that it would be delivered 2 WEEKS from then on Monday. Sunday night no call to tell me a delivery window. I call that night and am told it is rescheduled to the following Thurday with no explanation why. I call the Home Depot in Sicklerville, New Jersey. where I purchased the item, ask to speak to a manager. I am connected to someone who says " I have a manager's phon

My grandparents went out to purchase food for their new refrigerator that was supposed to be delivered today. We called and called again and they kept saying they were coming. The last time we called, they said they were 90 minutes out but that was at 8:30pm. It is currently 10:30pm and there is no delivery, no updates given, wasted food and time.

This store has nothing in stock EVER! I placed two online orders in last month and neither item not in stock. I also had to dispute one of the orders with my bank because they charge you when the order is placed and not when it is picked up and they never refunded me. They really need to fix their online ordering system.

While I do recommend Home Depot. I do not recommend curbside pick up. After sitting with the car running for 10 minutes. You have to end up walking inside to get your order.

was in the store this morning following up on an online order because the online ordering system did not work like it was supposed to. Even though I was a bit frustrated with the two ladies at the customer service desk they were very professional and had my issue resolved in a few minutes. Thank you to those two employees, and to all the Home Depot folks who are working through this mess.

I've always had a great experience at Home Depot! I spend plenty of money there...today was hell! Some woman named Wendy was at the cash register for the Pro desk...she took the person behind me (completely skipped over me and I had to buy salt BUT she never even asked me what I needed!) and acted like I wasn't even standing there. I said to her “excuse me can you help me before you take the next customer?†She started waving her finger saying “I'm with a customer right now a

I visited The Home Depot store in Middletown Delaware on Saturday, June 30, 2017. I'm writing this review because I'd like to make sure that my bringing the unprofessionalism to the attention of the store manager did not fall on deaf ears. It was one of the rudest and unprofessional experiences I've had at this store. I visited the site because I had a swimming pool that came to my house via mail in preparation for a kids party for the following weekend. However, when it arrived, the pump was not with it. I saw online that Home Depot carried the same brand of equipment so I went to the home and garden department in hopes of finding it (I did not want to risk ordering it online and it not arriving on time. There was a female employee (Stephanie), standing inside of the booth and not a single customer or another employee in sight. I asked Stephanie if she sold swimming pool equipment in the store. She replied, without looking up or opening the window to her booth, "I'm not sure but you can check over there" as she pointed in a direction that seemed it could be any direction. So I asked "over where?" She then looked up and pointed again. As I walked away from the booth, I was asking her, "do you mean here?" As I tried as best as I could to understand exactly what direction she was pointing in. She then sighed, what I interpreted as a sigh of annoyance and said, "yeah, if we have it, I THINK it would be over there. The area that she pointed in was in a small alcove so I quickly scanned and did not see it. I asked her if it was possible that the equipment might be in the store. She said "I think that's the only place that it would be." The problem for me at this point was her demeanor, her inability or reluctance to ask someone else if they could help me, and her non accommodating attitude towards a loyal customer. I then asked her, not really wanting to insult her intelligence, "is there anyone here that would know for sure?" My thinking was that I can't go off of "I'm not sure. I think." She didn't lift one finger to help me. She then changed her statement to "I know if it's not here, we don't have it." I asked her how could she be sure when she'd just stated that she didn't know. She "restated in a rather nasty tone, "I know and if it's not there, we don't have it." At that point, I realized the unprofessionalism in which I was dealing. I went inside to customer service and requested to speak with a supervisor. I explained to him in detail the encounter that I had. I further explained that I have a home business in which I'm at Home Depot multiple times a week and I've never dealt with such an unprofessional employee. He said that he sees me in the store quite a bit and apologized for the interaction. He further assured me that he would speak with the employee. Usually, when I go to this particular establishment, my gripe is that the staff are undertrained and that I tend to know more than they do; especially in the paint department. So it's an added frustration when employees are rude and aren't knowledgeable about equipment too.
