Couldn’t decide on a 3 or 4 star. I liked that she was able to bring me in sooner than expected. I showed her a picture of how I would like to get my hair cut. She cut it wayyy too short in the back and side as seen in the photos which I’m really not happy about. It was too late to even say anything by the time I was able to touch the back of my head. (I wasn’t facing the mirror to watch). Not sure if it was because she had a friend there and was talking, just not paying attention. The next was my appointment was at 5pm, she was late but it was ok because she explained why. So we didn’t start until about 5:30pm. I didn’t leave the salon until about 8:30pm which I wasn’t expecting to be leaving that late. I was charge $125 for shampoo and cut. Her price when you go in the salon says $85 for shampoo blow cut (added photo). She is a really sweet lady but I don’t think I would be returning. I’m sure she figured since I wasnt smiling, excited nor did I say I liked it. It’s ok it will grow back eventually.

I have been a client of Melessa’s a little over a year. She has gifted hands! You will come in 1 way and go out looking like a new person. She weaves incredible! My hair has grown about 6 inches since she has been weaving my hair. She’s pricey but well worth it!
Requested style: Full weave with a closure. Sometimes color on the closure.

I came to this location while visiting my Aunt in Delaware, which entailed, detoxing, shampooing and conditioning with her product line. The service was quick and yet still indulging. My hair not only looked great but it felt refreshed. She was timely and the service was excellent. It was was second time and another great experience. I way highly satisfied with the service at this location as well as the Baltimore location. Both establishments were posh and gave excellent private service. .

Horrible experience. She overcharged me with sewing in my own weave @$225.00, she was very rough when sewing in weave, I kept telling her she is pulling the thread so tight, she would apologize and keep doing the same thing, I persevered until she was done and she had guts asking for a tip while I was paying the $225. For 20 years I have been in this country the highest I have ever paid for weave sewing is $100.00. Never in my life will I go back there. She actually at first asked me $300. I wonder what she charges with knot less braids, my daughters pay 250-300 for knot less. Melissa you are exploiting customers. Was it because I was a walk in? I will never recommend you even to my worst enemy. You messed my day.
