This rating is for the grooming service. If I could rate a 0 I would. They’re completely unprofessional and turned my dog away because they were too busy. I was not a “walk-in” I had a scheduled appointment.

Theres a really nasty little girl in there that is very rude and tells you how you are feeding your pets wrong like I'm pretty sure this says dog food on the label....

6/6 I came in to return fish that passed away..I had asked the cashier Allison before I left on 6/4/24 what the fish return policy was and she said I have no idea. So I cane in without the fish but had a picture and trying to return them and the cashier at the register said I had to have my water tested and bring the fish back like everything you have to return..I told her I was not told that at all and she said all our cashiers are trained...Pretty much said I was lying...All cashiers should tell every person that buys any animals there the policy but Allison didn't know it eventhough the other lady said she did. So make sure you ask the right person before you leave the building.. because not everyone knows like they say...And I didn't get my return eventhough I had proof they died and I have a very healthy beta at home alive.....but not other fishes that I spent 210 dollars on new tank and stuff for....

I was coming to this petco for years for my pets. Their aquatic section is always so poorly ran. I bought 8 neon tetras from them (I shouldn’t have because they looked a little sick) but I felt bad because their tanks at petco are always in poor quality. All 8 of them died within 3 days and my tank is well established with life that has been present for years. Every time I purchase aquatics here my water gets some type of disease. I mean look at their aquatics, nothing but dead fish. Then they want you to pay for vital pet for each area of the store. Be more consistent before making someone pay monthly for an aquatics section that looks like NOBODY TAKES PRIDE IN IT. Spend more money on labor and have someone that knows aquatics running it. Shame on you. I won’t be returning here even for my dog food. ??

Sad to find this store no longer stocks the food my fussy eater likes. And check the prices as they are scanned. A sale was advertised on the shelf but I didn't realize I didn't get that price until I was home. Not worth the gas money to go back, is a little annoying.

If you're looking for a pet grooming establishment that genuinely prioritizes your pet's needs, I suggest searching elsewhere. This specific Petco branch displays a lack of professionalism and enforces discriminatory policies regarding medical conditions.
I had scheduled a grooming appointment for my Yorkshire Terrier a little over a week ago and was contacted today, three days before the scheduled date, to be informed that it was canceled due to her medical conditions. It's important to note that she has been groomed at a Petco in Pennsylvania multiple times without any issues.
The reason provided for this cancellation was unacceptable. I was told that Petco does not groom dogs with any medical conditions. This justification is not only discriminatory but also contradicts my previous experiences with Petco, where my dog was groomed without any problems.
These concerns should have been addressed promptly, not a week later. The delay in communication reflects a lack of professionalism and disregards customers' time and expectations.
When I tried to discuss my dog's medical conditions, which are not visible; they're internal and do not affect her grooming process, I encountered further discrimination. The General Manager insisted on mentioning my dog's anxiety around other dogs, implying that this made her unsuitable for grooming services at Petco. To clarify, my dog's anxiety around other dogs is irrelevant to her grooming appointment. She does not interact with other dogs during her grooming sessions.
Hopefully, this review will help others avoid similar discriminatory treatment at Petco.
