Ok, so, I just had one if not the worst customer service experiences of my life. Me, my wife, and two kids who came into Walmart to exchange a SSD that was a gift from a family member I waited for a manager who was called over the loudspeaker for well over 30 minutes and she never showed up flat out ignored it. I had to do her job and track her down because she wasn't listening and she didnt care immediately was rude and obnoxious, she had no clue what she was doing and ended up having to call another manager. By this time, we had been there for over an hour with no results, they were consistently rude, ignorant, and nasty. All I wanted to do was exchange one SSD for another, but they told me the only thing they could do was give me ten dollars. So, then I told them that was ridiculous, and walked away. After that, I walked over to the electronics department to see if I could buy a new one. We were trying to ask the man if he could open the case so we could buy a new SSD, but over 5 employees had followed us to the section and began harassing us, which was completely unethical and unprofessional. One of the managers with red hair had turned her name card around, one employee was named Zachery along with another named Michele. After they were harassing us and following us through the store for no reason, they threatened to call the police though we had done absolutely nothing wrong though as to defend ourselves because of all of the discourteous and inconsiderate behavior, they all should be fired!!!

BEWARE! Do not use curbside shopping. Scheduled a pick up time for 2-3pm for an order totaling over $260. My son went almost an hour away from our house to pick it up and was there at 2pm. That's when I started receiving order delayed messages. Almost 5 hours later they came out with the groceries. Only thing, it wasn't our order! My son had to enter the store defeating the purpose of car delivery. After waiting a half hour in line he was told he needed to wait another hour if he wanted a refund because the manager was busy and would call him. It is now 8pm. He just called to say the manager cannot refund my money, because it has to be done via a hotline not available on weekends. I cannot even wrap my head around this obscene level of incompetence. We should be reimbursed for all the time Wal-Mart wasted and exposure in the store! I am beyond disgusted. All the ingredients for Fathers day dinner were in our order.

I don't like Walmart as a rule, but I do hate this one. The majority of the people that work at the is store are rude, lazy, and disinterested in helping you. They ofter cluster together and talk and if you approach with a question, they act like you are bothering them! Tonight two of the young male employees, on eon his cell phone, and the other walking a bicycle inside the store were blocking me because they kept stopping and going and I almost ran into the one with the bike twice. The store is so cluttered and stuffed to the rafters with junk that there is no room to maneuver. The store is open until 11, but their god awful customer "service" closes at 8! Go figure. You may ask why I go to Walmart if I hate it so much, and the answer is that I hate Amazon even more, especially since they increased the Prime annual fee. I got one year of free W+ through one of my credit cards, and canceled Prime, and use W+ to buy stuff. I wanted to return a couple of things I bought that were of poor quality, but their CS was closed by the time I got to the store. It doesn't say on the website what the hours are for CS, so I assumed they are open until closing. Avoid going inside if you can! Order online and pick up outside.

There are no bags available which is bad enough, but then you have stand in a line where one person reads every receipt. Stop punishing customers for your choice to stop providing bags

This has to be the worst Walmart I have ever been in. The shelves are empty and the store itself is dirty. I will never shop here again! It doesn't even deserve 1 star. All around bad experience.

workers are always so nice. it is always stocked and never seems to be low on staff. my only complaint is that they need to open more registers but honestly the huge self checkout area makes up for it. this is the only walmart i go to and it definitely is worth the drive

Disappointed in the self scanners. Whoever came up with this idea did not ever shop with toddlers. I also feel if I'm going to scan and bag my own cart I should at least get a discount or at least w-2! What happens to human interactions!

The Middletown, Delaware WalMart is an organizational and managerial nightmare. Avoid it if you can. I had to give one star to post this review, but this Walmart deserves NO STARS. It is supposed to be a WalMart SUPERCENTER, but there is NOTHING super about it. The shelves are constantly empty (some items are missing for WEEKS at a time), there are no prices displayed, items ring up at the wrong price, there are not nearly enough employees, the INSTORE PICKUP computer system is ALWAYS down, and there never is any INSTORE PICKUP help available -- you have to wait in the regular CUSTOMER SERVICE line...and then when you get to the counter they move you aside until someone feels like helping you with a pickup order. A TOTAL MESS!!! Although, in the interest of fairness, I must say that the JEWELRY DEPARTMENT Manager (Miss Cathy???) is a total gem: knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and approachable -- why can't all Walmart employees and Managers have her attitude? I try to organize the things I need from WalMart until I have the time and another reason to travel down to EASTON, Maryland...no sales tax savings there, but an exemplary store that is well-stocked and that has totally helpful employees -- and the INSTORE PICKUP actually works! Unfortunately, Easton is not a SUPERCENTER, so I can't shop for groceries there -- although because Middletown is always out of stock I really can't shop for groceries there, either! I would avoid the Middletown, Delaware, Walmart like the plague (and based on the level of cleanliness in this Walmart you might well find the plague there!) ...although from reading the YELP reviews it appears as though all the northern Delaware Walmarts are of this same caliber. I would think that will all the wealth in northern Delaware that there would be at least one decent Walmart (and don't think that rich people don't shop at Walmart -- they do! Just check out the Walmarts in areas such as Easton, Maryland and Westminster, Maryland). I have shopped at Walmarts all over the country, and Middletown, Delaware is definitely the WORST. Walmart, in general, has declined severely all over the country since they first opened. When they were the new boys on the block (competing with KMART and others) they offered superior service including great inventory control (they could tell you when a product would be available). Now that Walmart is the ONLY kid on the block they are taking advantage of this position by not maintaining their past standards. Oh, well, perhaps Amazon will start making inroads into the Walmart kingdom. At least with Amazon you know what you are getting, how much it will cost, and when it will arrive. Bye, bye Walmart!

This was well stocked store, however in the past several months it has declined significantly with in stock items. The grocery shelves are consistently empty. We use to order on line for grocery but the substitutions become the rule not the exception. If your looking something specific you may need to plan to look elsewhere.

This was my fourth time shopping at Walmart in Middletown De. Three times prior pick up went without a hitch. But this evening WOW, what an atrocious operation it was. I got notified that our order was ready for pickup and we left from Grottos across the road. When you pull up your phone says your here, someone is bringing your order out now. All pick up parking spots were occupied with two cars parked on the wall waiting as well. The parking spots for pick up are marked 1 through 10 so I pulled in next to number 10 and the prompt asked what number parking spot I was in. It gave as many as 14 numbers to choose from so I put in number 11. Five minutes later another person pulled up and parked next to me and asked me about pick up parking. I told her I had put in number 11 and she could put in number 12. We had no idea after waiting 20 minutes that the Walmart people wouldn't be able to figure out that every spot was full and we chose the next parking numbers. OMG I thought I had seen it all. The manager on duty was apologetic but him being the manager in charge after what had already happened, brought number 12's grocery's out and ignored me. I had to tell him I'd been waiting 20 minutes and number 12 came five minutes after me. We have all been in line at a store when another cashier opens up and takes the last person in line first ( idiot) we know but the manager in charge, holly poop!!!! I'm pissed and spreading the word. W A F U.

I was shopping the other night and everything was just so horrific. It looked like the managers treat their coworkers awfully. I think this managers name was Joseph , but I saw him in one of the grocery aisles and he was calling a coworker worthless and I overheard him say "you should be moving quicker than me , you're black." That behavior is not acceptable and I will no longer shop at such a racist environment.

Everyone that works here has a disability I believe and therefore the service is straight trash , I have the belief that because of this autistic ability the scanning is very slow and the work ethic is garbage I also believe this is why they cannot fire the employees that are giving this horrible customer service my suggestion is go when it’s empty

Had a decent experience in this Walmart until I checked the out . Our cashier literally said nothing to us and obviously was in a bad mood. You would have thought I was the one trying to provide friendly service. Do better , Walmart
