I called Marilyn at the Game Stop in Milford DE Saturday afternoon. It’s about a 25 minute drive from my house. I searched my area for a Loki Time Variance T-shirt in XX Large, with no luck It was sold out in 2 locations I visited. It was also sold out at her store. Marilyn was extremely helpful by saving me time and more gas. She searched the region for the shirt, finding it in the neighboring State of Maryland. She called the store. The item is being shipped to her store so I can pick it up next week. Marilyn went beyond what I expected since the item is on clearance. It would have been very easy for her to say, “Sorry, it’s sold out.” I want to give her props, for her good deed.

Best customer service I've ever had. Both Chris and Maryland went above and beyond expectations. All my questions were answered and even tested my new console and controller I bought on site. I even bought a new game there and shared their love for it. Hands down the best experience I've had as a customer. Will return for future game releases. Thank you for everything!

I purchase a brand new Xbox one controller and they sold me a warranty in case anything happens. I’ve had no problems before when purchasing the extra warranty. Now they say when you bring in the defective controller with the paid warranty you’re only allowed to replace it with a preowned controller. They didn’t say that when they sold the warranty. That is false information given when purchasing the extra warranty. So I paid $62 for a brand new one and was replaced with a used one for $52. So I get ripped off an additional $10 besides being stuck with a pre owned replacement. I suggest you ask more questions when purchasing the so called extra warranty.

Marilyn is absolutely the best Gamestop Employee I have ever dealt with. Traveling through the state from NJ and stopped in for a game and some cards. It was the absolute best experience in GS I have ever had. Makes me want to travel 2.5 hours to get a game just for the pleasant experience!

Yes I paid for a game ordered it online it was a used game. Went to the store to go pick it up and found out they are closed due to AC issues only open from 10:00 to 3:00pm. Till AC gets fixed. The issue is that the store never called me to let me know they were closing early even though I was going there to pick up a game I purchased and paid for. Call customer service said it was a store issue they forwarded the issue it to the regional manager. When I spoke to customer service. Got an incident number. But let them know further negligence that I would like my game for free on top of it something for aggravation. They told me I would have to speak to the manager and they agreed with me from the corporate office the store really messed up due to store and management . I will be calling at 10:00 a.m. they said if I have any issues with the manager to give corporate office a call. Most poorest customer service and business I've ever done with the company.

Rarely do reviews but the experience made this worth it. I'm a visitor from NY for reference.A typical GameStop experience is very generic, employee in the store who may or may not know what's going on. They may or may not reccomend services or promos that may or may not make them or the store $$$ for the day.My experience with Marilyn (I'm sorry if I got the Spelling incorrect) on 5/26 was SUPERB to say the least. She genuinely has the CUSTOMER in her best interest, regardless of all the additional incentives, metrics & typical corporate shenanigans involved. She spent time during my visit to address my Power Up Rewards account issues (Which was resolved during a 20 minute visit) & this has been ongoing for close to a year.As someone who once upon a time worked for a Subsidiary of GameStop (Spring Mobile - AT&T) and saw the downfall in the 2016-ish timeframe, Marilyn is someone of not only value, but had the drive & enthusiasm to bring a "Broken" name of GameStop up from the proverbial ashes.Keep doing what you do, Marilyn! It does go unnoticed! Thank you for a pleasurable & memorable visit.

They were super awesome! Such great customer service from all employees tonight and its Christmas eve. They were very good with both my kids a 10 year old boy and 16 year old girl all 3 emplyees were very accommodating and helpful. They tried very hard to get us any discount they could. They didnt seem wore out even tho it was closing time. They were just awesome if I could give them a raise I would!
