Very pleased with my experience at Ivira. One of the things I was prescribed went on back order & the pharmacist went to another location to pick up the item for me. Upon arrival they also gave me some alternative suggestions to a medicine that was suggested by my doctor. It is clear that they care about their customers. 10/10 would recommend this location to friends & family

My husband and I live in Milford, Delaware, and had never heard of Ivira Pharmacy until the beginning of April, 2024, when my regular Rite Aid pharmacy referred me there.
I have been taking 0.25 MCG of Calcitriol for several years, but since 2023, I found out that I can only take those capsules identified as "CAL1" which are manufactured by "BionPharma" and some others. I had an allergic reaction to the capsules identified as "653" which were manufactured by "Strides." Rite Aid noted this on my record and they were able to get the "CAL1" Calcitriol from BionPharma through mid January of 2024. In mid March, it was time for a refill. Athough Rite Aid was trying to order again from BionPharma, the only Calcitriol capsules being sent to Rite Aid were from "Strides." I waited an entire month hoping that Rite Aid would eventually receive the order from BionPharma, but they never got any, so when I followed up with Rite Aid pharmacy, the young lady apologized saying they've been ordering it, but nothing is being sent, so she suggested contacting Walgreens and CVS, as they might have the "CAL1" capsules. Unfortunately, Walgreens stated that they only had the "Strides" capsules. As for CVS, I had left messages with their pharmacy, but they never returned my calls.
So, back to the drawing board. On April 3, I called Rite Aid pharmacy back to explain my dilemma with Walgreens and CVS, and that's when they recommended I call Ivira Pharmacy in Milford, Delaware. They gave me the phone number and the location. I thanked them and then called Ivira Pharmacy immediately. The young lady who answered the phone was very nice!!! I was worried that I would not be able to get the correct medicine again, but while I was explaining my situation, the young lady was very kind, understanding, super caring and very patient. She immediately put my concerns to rest when she said they can definitely get the "CAL1" Calcitriol prescription for me. I was ecstatic and could not thank her enough!!! She said it might take a few days....WOW, JUST A FEW DAYS...I WAS THRILLED!!! I believe it was the next day that I received a phone call from Dr. Patel who was also super nice and very caring. He explained that they should have the prescription within 2 to 3 days, and he was concerned if I had enough of my current medicine to last until then, which I assured him I did. I then thanked him for letting me know. On April 5, 2024, I received another call from Ivira Pharmacy to let me know that my prescription came in. HOLY COW, THAT WAS FAST!!! I was sick, so I asked them if my husband could pick it up. My husband said that when he walked in to Ivira Pharmacy, he was greeted with a friendly hello by all the staff. He said everyone was really nice!!! When he got home and I took the medicine out of the bag, to my surprise, there weren't the usual 90 capsules, there were 180 capsules!!!!!
I just want to say A MILLION THANKS to Dr. Patel and the rest of the staff at Ivira Pharmacy in Milford, Delaware, not only for your kind and caring ways, but, also, for your efficient and expeditious handling of my "CAL1" Calcitriol prescription!!! I really do appreciate it and I am extremely grateful to all of you!!! I highly recommend Ivira Pharmacy!!!

This review is LONG overdue: apologies. Like many, we (foolishly) tried to be loyal to the “big” companies - but were never treated as people. No one ever got to know our name. The lines were always long and the wait time seemingly endless. We eventually moved to an independent pharmacy, Pill Box, until the owner was forced to close his doors in 2021. He suggested we try Ivira, formerly Greenhill. Fast forward to 2024: EVERY SINGLE interaction with this establishment is safe, courteous, efficient, and human! Mr. Patel and all of his staff greet us with a ready smile, our meds are quickly scanned, and we’re on our way. If we NEED help, they give it; if we ASK for suggestions, they offer it. We got our Covid shots at Ivira. One of our other favorite things about Ivira is that there is the option to correspond via texts. This has proven invaluable! And on a more personal note: we recently went to pick up our granddaughter being discharged without her medications. Mr. Patel actually STAYED LATE and WAITED for the prescriptions to come through before closing! NO OTHER PHARMACY would ever have done that! So please! Consider giving the “small” business owner a chance: the difference will be ENORMOUS! And you’ll be glad you did. Cristina and Bill

Caring staff! The Pharmacist is Wonderful! Early this week we asked for a delivery as we where not well, delivery came. Today the considerate Pharmacist sent our supply of monthly meds out without being asked. Nothing like someone looking out for you! Love this Pharmacy!!

Was sent to this pharmacy by my nutritionist as no pharmacy in my area had the medication I needed. Got a call within 2 hours of the script being sent that it was ready! I went in and the pharmacist greeted me from the moment I walked in the door, he asked for my information, quickly and efficiently gave me what I needed and I was literally out the door in less than 2 minutes!!! I love this place! Never going anywhere else again!

Very nice pharmacy! Good to know about the rapid testing . Please keep us updated when you will be doing it again since this variant is on arise . Just wish everyone wear a mask and be safe and careful use precautions when going out for indoors and outdoors settings.

The owner, Dr. Jigar Patel is brilliant. His knowledge of medicinal interaction is impeccable. I have never felt this type of confidence with a Parmacist. The staff is amazingly reliable. I have been depending on home delivery for close to one year. There has never been a mistake and often Dr. Patel will remind me that I am due for life sustaining medications. He and his staff have struggled to maintain an ongoing supply of Covid19 masks, gloves and very much needed PPE without any price gouging at all. An amazing community pharmacy in Milford, DE with a pharmacist that goes above and beyond for his patients.
