This company meets all of the 5 criteria above. The technician, Jim, was competent, courteous and very nice. I have had an ongoing maintenance contract for several years, and they have never let me down. The gentleman who installed my A/C yesterday were left alone in my house all day. I figured it wouldn’t be an issue because the sales person told me that everyone is background checked and drug tested and so on. All in all they did a great job and as far as I can tell, nothing is missing.However, before I left them tot their work I had found an old toe clipping from my dog who had passed away two years ago. He was cremated and left on a box on my nightstand in my bedroom. I never place anything on this box and seldom let anything or anyone touch it at all. I was going to place this mail clipping inside the box but didn’t feel like finding the key so I place the clipping on top of his box and left it.A gentleman called me around 5:30 pm yesterday and told me they were finished. He asked me about a knickknack that was left on my dining room table and asked what I planned to do with it, I could tell he wanted it. I told him I wasn’t sure but I needed to go through everything when I get back to the house. I found his question strange. I only went back to the house today to inspect everything when I noticed a bunch of finger prints all over my dogs box (I hadn’t noticed how dusty I had let his box get because I never touch it), the nail clipping was gone, and the lock was broken off. The pad lock itself was behind the nightstand on the floor and the piece of the lock that broke from the box was placed inside next to my dogs ashes. Fortunately, his ashes were left in the box.There was an open window in the room that they closed to keep the cool air in, this is understandable. There is a vent underneath the window that they may have needed to check, this is also understandable. But my nightstand was on the opposite side of the room. There was no need to go over there. There was no need to put hands all over this box. I don’t understand why this happened. Was it an accident? Why didn’t anyone say anything? I told myself if I really cared about him I wouldn’t have left him alone with strangers. He was my best friend for 8 years and he died alone in that house because I wasn’t there for him. What did they do to my dogs ashes? Why did they open it? I just don’t understand. I just wanted a new air conditioner. Of all the things they could have messed with in that house. I was experiencing a problem with the gas feed line to my fire pit. i contacted the fire pit manufacturer's tech support group. They suggested that the most likely cause was rain water plugging the inlet line. Horizon came out quickly and promptly. Their plumber/technician was very courteous and professional. In 40 minutes he had cleared the water pluggage, and the fire pit was working properly. He did a great job! Clearly, based on that a 5 star rating. I wasflabbergasted by the bill. It was$261 for 40 minutes. Even Union Plumbers in Philadelphia don't charge that much.

Every time I have had my furnace and a/c service the technician has been on time also a text letting me know when he was headed to the house.He explained what he was going to be doing and if there were any concerns he would explain and tell me if it was something minor or major concern.Always courteous and very professional.I would recommend them!!!Services: HVAC system maintenance

Very rapid response to us in time of an emergency. Our HVAC unit died during a heat wave. They evaluated the problem thoroughly, were knowledgeable of all issues and regulations and provided several options. Horizon accommodated our schedule and perform the necessary repairs in a timely fashion. While they were somewhat more expensive the work was excellent and professional. Technician John S. found the problem quickly and made sure the correct part was ordered. New ac coil arrived in days and was expertly installed. Very satisfied with his communication regarding the problem and will ask for him by name in the future.Services: A/C system maintenance

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by both Mark B and Mike W during a recent service call. They arrived on time, replaced our HVAC blower component, and had us up and running with AC within the hour. Mark and Mike are highly competent technicians and just good people!

Start to finish this company is very upholding to their mission statement. We first had our AC unit get maintenance on it. We had been living there 3 years and never had one done. Upon the inspection I let the company know how difficult it was for the unit to cool our home. A few days later Rob Sawers came out and did an in home estimate on a new unit and assessed some issues. Before we had decided on a unit he gave us a list of quick remedies which to me meant a great deal that this company cares about their customers. We ended up getting a new unit. 3 days later Phil and his counter part showed up to get the job done. They took no time at all to get everything going and by the afternoon our new unit was in. We went with a hybrid system. For all my fellow oil homeowners this is a LIFE CHANGER. oil will only be used if the temperature outside drops below 25°. I can't wait to see how efficient this runs over summer .Our old unit was 18 years old!!!!!

Almost 3 months of HVAC shutdowns, lost count of how many visits First Class has made, probably a dozen or more... parts have been replaced, tested, it's run, it has stopped, it's been horribly hot (80s/90s) and now there is SUCCESS! At least we think so. Thank you again to Mike Shelton for interfacing with DEC (Delaware Electric Cooperative) and the wonderful DEC lineman that came to my home! And for the lead technician (Jeff I think is the name) for coming up with the 'why' the problem exists. DEC now updated voltage to my home: 'Voltages went from 248.8 to 239.7'. The equipment shuts itself down at 250 so there was little room for fluctuations. It was not a Lennox equipment problem.First Class Horizon DID NOT create the Lennox equipment I was having trouble with, but they stood behind the contract, worked through frustration on their part and dealt with mine as the homeowner. A very big and well deserved THANK YOU for their bull headed determination getting it corrected, and I do believe it is. My apologies for upset with this company, holding them responsible for not quickly fixing something that another company made. That is not fair.

Mike Wenger did a great job taking over 5 hours installing a replacement part and my HVAC was wonderful and running great, until it didn't about a day and a half later much to my dismay. Repair is on the way back tomorrow. This posting is to say something unexpected, THANK YOU for not giving up trying to fix this problem, whatever it is. Get it straighten it out. I'm sick of it, am sure the company is also and sick of me calling for repairs. It just speaks well of the company not to try leaving someone high and dry with a problem and they try to persevere in getting to correct what's wrong. In the meantime, it takes a hefty dose of patience all the way around to get the job done with the temps in the 80s and 90s.

Have been through 2 months with 7 appointments to fix my HVAC $16,643 system that originally worked with no problem when SABRS had installed and maintained it, now to have found that Horizon and First Class took it over... awful... that is until the ONLY person I would let enter my premises from that company is MIKE SHELTON (a SABRS original!), a total blessing to the company and the customers. Have faith if you are stuck with this company, MIKE is wonderful. Takes the time to review what's been tried and does not work, figures out what the actual problem is, offers the solution in layman's terms to get to live a normal life again, and OMG actually fixes it. I CANNOT speak highly enough of this very qualified, very personable clean cut vet (thank you so much for your service to the country and to making this company workable to the public)! First Class should have him listed as their Lead Technician. If you are going through the same agony I endured the last two month, request this guy, he rocks!!!!!

Our tankless hot water heater started having ignition issues. Roger was here the next day and fixed the problem quickly. Very personable technician. Highly recommend.
