Prices too high for all donated items.

Definitely not a non-profit. I was going there for awhile and finding some really nice children’s stuff. Well, one day I was in there buying a toy and the base price was $2.99 because it didn’t have a price tag. The manager told me it was $8 and refused to give it to me for $2.99, then started talking about corporate and their prices. Everything is donated! Once you start throwing the word “corporate” at a customer you know it’s not truly non-profit! I will no longer go there or donate to them.

The lady manager was rude n quite full of herself n then I over heard her talkin about how there’s no ac in the back of the store we’re the employees go or something but she made there employees work in such heat without any ac all the workers looked so exhausted n suffering, any time someone would come out from the back of the store when those door opened this terrible wave of heat radiating from the doors open u could feel like ud pass out it was actually worse than the outside during those heat waves we’ve had. But even still them workers kept pushing threw n we are referring to these workers as bein older people n disabled people iv seen with a boot or foot brace on workin at it they all deserve a pay raise for dealing with all that those are terrible conditions to have them be working in but did seem like the female managers really cared it’s disappointing

I used to travel out to this location from 20 mins east because it had good turnover of products and some great gems. Now it’s just one of the most overpriced ones in the area. $7 for a 5” vase? $15 for average no-name boots? Everything there was a hard pass and they need to get their pricing in check because they’ll be pricing out their customers. Get it together, Goodwill Millsboro. Just a for-profit entity masquerading as a non-profit at this point.

This Goodwill is completely overpriced. $7 each for pants or shorts that were used and then donated. I just bought shorts at ACTS yesterday for $2 each. I realize that it is for a good cause but they would make more for their cause if they would just price things more reasonably.

I shop at Goodwill for everything and have never had such an unpleasant experience. The man and woman working were extremely rude to myself and even more so to my friend who was with me. The woman was saying passive aggressive comments near us, about us, the entire time we were shopping, making us extremely uncomfortable. There were others in the store that they were kind to and then mean, not rude, simply mean, to us. For example, I was behind a couple checking out and the woman was ringing them up and gave the woman of the couple a pair of Uggs that didn't have a tag for a couple bucks while the shoes in the store had a set price. When it was my turn, she wouldn't even greet me and didn't give me or ask if I wanted a bag or my receipt nor tell me I had 7 days to make a return like she did the people in front of us. Now you probably assuming we were rude and deserved it but since we shop at goodwill for everything, we understand the importance of putting stuff back and that the job is probably not fun and due to that, we were very friendly. We both bought $30+ worth of goods each so it's not like we were wasting their time. When it was closing they only told us to leave personally and just announced it to everyone else on the intercom. She was loudly talking crap about us as she walked around the store too. We have no clue what warranted this from the moment we walked in besides them stereotyping 20 something year old women. Distasteful and unfortunate.

Great clothes, good sizes, and everything. My problem is that they are overpriced. I got 3 shirts, a pair of shorts, and a mug. Almost 20 dollars!! Rude staff. this lady told my grandma, "I would NEVER shop here. I could never wear used clothing." She also asked us weird, unnecessary questions like "is this mens or womens?" Why does it matter? I'm never coming back unless they fix up their place and staff.

Manager was being a wise crack when there was a woman Infront of us purchasing a full cart of clothes and I asked her if they could open another cash register she said "if you know of anyone applying for a position then I'll gladly open one". I refused to go to her register she 15 min of finally turning it on. Her demeanor was unnecessary and poor.

Sorry Goodwill, your prices SUCK. Clothing is not on the rack like the color coded system Salvation Army uses. They also price items a standard color coded price, like all jackets and blazers at $6.99 (example), all jeans $6 (example) unless marked otherwise. I'm very familiar with brands, styles and pricing with relation to Salvation Army, eBay, Mercari and even Plato's Closet. And Goodwill prices are INSANELY overpriced.Pictures in frames that I can buy cheaper brand new. Just a very small example. The gentleman that was our cashier was super sweet and funny and personable. Store didn't smell off, and the bathrooms are locked so I can't speak for the status of that.

Very small store, not a great selection. Was there around noon. No toilet paper in rest room and it needed cleaning. No bags for your purchases. Overpriced, and quite rude. Will not visit again
