Took my cylinder head from my 2.7L Tacoma here after I blew the head gasket. Theses guys walked me through everything they would do as far as testing, valve reseating, milling, etc. They even ordered me a new head gasket while I was there for much cheaper than I could get at autozone. They finished it in 3 days and I was able to get back to my project. Relatively cheap too! Now my truck runs better than ever and I have piece of mind that professionals looked it over and milled it perfectly. Some of these comments say about the metal shavings, but what do you expect from milling a large block of aluminum? Blow it all out or ask them to do it again—they blew mine out again while I was there. Do yourself a favor and take your project here and you’ll be glad you did.Service: Motor building

Great place to get your engine rebuilt. The gentleman that owns this business knows his business and good at what he does.

Resurfaced the cylinder head of my vehicle. Went to install the head, and it was FILLED with metal shavings. I called to ask why and explain that the was upset, and he promptly hung up the phone on me. DO NOT use this business. I do not recommend. Overpriced and lack of customer service. Took way too long as well.... I am extremely dissappointed and upset about my experience here. Especially since I drove over 2.5 hours just to go to this shop specifically.Service: Engine repair

Been a family business since day one. Have bought a dozen or more parts and engines here since they left Baltimore. The only good shop in Sussex

I was rebuilding the top end in an ATV, and I contacted them for boring the cylinder and machining the head. Quoted a price upfront, and did everything they said they would. I had to get new valves and when they came in on a Monday I asked how quick they could turn the head around, already having the cylinder done, as we were hoping to go out of town the following weekend. He said he would see what he could do, and called the next morning advising it was done. I couldn't have been more appreciative to a 1day turnaround on the head, or the service and tips shared through the process.

Horrible work, and customer service. When prompted to incorrectly balance (External balance on an internal Ford Modular motor) I was told "It's your s***, I'll do it how you want" and that was when I took my build elsewhere. That was only the beginning however. I brought in one of my "Teksid" 4.6 aluminum blocks to be cleaned, inspected, and built. To my surprise, I was told all bores were good to go at standard size, 3.552". I sort of second guessed this in my mind, but assumed he is the professional and knows what he is doing. I sunk $1,315 into custom optioned out JE pistons in 3.552" bore size, stock bore. Took the build elsewhere, and found that from front to rear, the engine had normal wear ranging from .002" to .005" at the rear. The pistons are useless. I'm out the $204 to have Bob clean & inspect the block, and tell me to order the wrong size pistons. Then, $1,315 into the wrong pistons. Follow that up with $40 more to have the block measured an additional time. He nearly has me into the thousands of loss, and I'm going to consider legal action.

Needed some work done and I walk in when they were closed and I said sorry don't know if you can give me quick estimate on an Atv head and he didn't want anything to do with it and just keep saying they are closed and told me no don't deal with them
