Suburban had the best price for burying a 330 gallon tank and rental of the same. Lawn was a little messy but you have to break eggs to have an omelet. Came on the scheduled day and did the Job professionaly.

Very piss poor customer if I could leave a negative I would. lady was rude on the phone then when they removed the tanks they even took my blocks the tank was on may sound petty but after all the trouble I had and the bill they sent me it’s not I owned the fuel in the tank! They claim to credit me but still ended up with a 200.00 bill I say bullshit “they claim to weigh it credit my account “ two 250 gallon tanks at 70% and I own 400 on the account but yet was still bill 200 math is not matching this is typical of these propane companies I bought my own tank and will be will call to who ever is cheaper stay away from renting tanks it’s a SCAM !

A little note to rave in a big way about a most excellent employee. Thank you, Veronica, for going over and above, tending to our family's service needs. Kind, caring, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining! Why would you shop for your propane anywhere else? Honestly, you get what you pay for, and that includes great service and customer care. Thank you, Suburban, and thank you, Veronica, beyond words for all your TLC! Love, Mama D & Family <3

I've been a customer a full year now. If I had it do all over again I WOULDN'T! Now I've got two more agonizing years of a contract I should never have entered. The accounting of this business is absurd. There's just no other word for it. My tank was filled first week of November. I've carried a credit on my acct for a year. So, when the receipt for the gas fill was left in my door, I KNEW that's not what I owed. I, as with anything else over that past 50 years, will pay it when everything is accounted for and I receive a final bill after the credit. Oh, nooooooo. That didn't happen. I got a bill a couple of days ago about 10 days after the tank fill and not only is my credit NOT shown, it has no credit shown AT ALL. So, I go onto the website and THAT amount is different from the bill I received AND it's got a late charge on it!!!! For what??? I paid the amount on the bill I received. NOT the website. NOT the receipt left in my door. I don't know WTH they're doing but it makes zero sense. I can't wait to be rid of this company.Word To The Wise: BEWARE this 'business'!

Okay I will be straight to the issue. Your lady’s that answered all calls or very polite and professional. Second your supervisor I believe just has to much on his plate. Understand that you can’t be around the calls 24/7 other than that okay Except one detail charging for hazard delivery. Went I drove tractor trailer owner I had to pay for my hazard license to haul hazard material and talk to lots of local drivers to they had to do the same and show the company that they are updated on hazard class—A -B-H- M yes take the test every-2- yearPlus plus pay for the endorsements on my license thanks

You decide, recurring human error or some kind of scam? I was on "Will Call", which means I will call when I need propane. They arrive whenever they want and leave a bill including a large delivery fee. I have called 4 times and complained and they promise not to deliver again until I call. They have the worst system. Nobody communicates properly. The last time they was in July after I was promised they would not show up until I called. Barely needed propane and they nailed me again with huge fees. I canceled my contract. They did not care at all. HORRIBLE!!!!!

EDIT: When Suburban Propane removed the tanks, we found out they damaged the line going into the home. Beware!Be very careful considering this company. Make sure you look over the contract (3 year contract) and of all the other fees.We were late on payment due to a family emergency (under $200 and just a few months) and have been a customer for 2 1/2 years. The company removed our propane tanks without notification. The representative and manager that I spoke with indicate there were several calls made, but my Google voice number has no record of the call nor a voicemail. Now they are trying to collect MORE than the original bill due to an early termination fee, a pump down fee, a pick up /disconnect fee, and on and on. We had full tanks, they only gave credit for 120 gallons, plus removed almost $1 per gallon off the credit due to a "pump down fee".These large corporations don't care. We were given no sympathy about our issue due to the fact we left town for an emergency and both the representative and manager were very rude."Oh sir, our calls are recorded when we leave voicemails" - oh yeah? I'd like to hear the voicemails left for me with the phone call tracking information.Do your research - there are family owned companies in the area who will provide service with a smile, no rental fees on tanks, no contracts, no charge to connect service, etc. AND their rates are lower than Suburban by quite a bit. I wish I would've done research first before I just assumed the tanks that were onsite from Suburban Propane when we bought the house. The sales folks, installation team however are very great - never had a problem there.Wish someone would've called me to discuss this (as they documented in the notes), but they didn't. I hope this review catches the eyes of folks and allows them to research this for themselves. Was it our fault we had a past due payment? YES! But the lack of communication from Suburban is totally their issue and disgusting. Side note: we have little kids which makes this a bit worse.
