Yesterday I had a large cart of groceries. $285 to be exact. It was the first day of a weeks vacation with extended family. The cashier “A” was more concerned about talking to her fellow employee “M” who was standing there then she was about scanning my groceries. They were laughing and talking as “A” very slowly scanned each item with her body turned towards “M” to engage in conversation. “M” didn’t even bother to bag the scanned groceries that were piling up as he continued his animated conversation with “A”. I thought my head was going to EXPLODE!! Then along came Roland!! He was so cheerful and immediately started efficiently and quickly bagging my scanned groceries that had been piling up! He was working quickly, intent on the work before him, quietly getting the job done in an expeditious manner!! Well done Roland!! You completely turned this Mom’s shopping experience around!! Roland deserves recognition for being so hardworking amongst his “chatty-Cathy” coworkers!!! P.S. if you would like to k ow “A” and “M”’s full names I will be happy to provide them!

This Giant is very consistent with everything! Freshness should be a part of their name. Kind, efficient, and knowledgeable employees. Lastly, they have a wide variety of choices. Thank you Giant!

Clean, well stocked, reasonable prices. The Deli Order Ahead is a great idea but there are too many problems with execution. The weight is always more than ordered, the thickness is always “shaved” instead of the ordered “medium “ and today half of the order was not filled so I had to wait in line to order it anyways. Also, there no names on the order tickets to know which one is yours, which is especially difficult when someone else is picking up your order for you.

Got everything we needed and Brittany checking us out today was the perfect balance of service and speed. She took extra care with an older customer ahead of us, and she was very kind to me and my son.

Found a great deal on shrimp however they were sold out. Friendly staff person told me to go to customer service for a rain check. Said the shrimp should be in the next day.
Friendly customer service staff person wrote me out a slip
Came back next day and was out again. Seafood staff member said that that deal over but he was sure that it was in stock now. Contacted someone in the back and they were able to fetch the shrimp for me as it had just come in.
Friendly customer service lady rung up the shrimp at the great price.
Excellent service all around.
