“The girls in here are incredible. I had 50+ certified mail envelopes that had to go out, these two went out of their way to make sure every one of them was correct AND would get out before Labor Day weekend and were truly happy to do it. [ YOU KNOW MOST PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BEEN MOANIN & GROANIN w/ an order like that]. I couldn’t have made this happen without them. (If you’re curious, @ the post office it cost like 270$ when at UPS it would have cost over $1,100 for the same thing). Lucky to have this post office close by. Excellent service.”

“The other post offices in NCC should have to emulate Hockessin post office employees. It is such a pleasant yet rare occurrence that you are treated as a human being when visiting a federal or state facility. Why do I expect to be treated like less of a person or why do we allow them to get away with mistreating the public and a consumer. If your job makes you so miserable you harm another by your actions you should find another job and replace the miserable with clones of Hockessin employees. You have a forever customer in me. I needed to send some letters and I loved that you could drive up to the mailboxes. They don't have drive up mailboxes at every post office. So I especially loved this fact. I will return. “This is a small post office, so it might be short-staffed sometimes, and there are larger units nearby. However, if you time your visit to beat the last-minute-to-closing rush, you probably won't have to wait in line. If you have prepaid packages to drop off, they've got a bin for that: drop & go. Need a receipt? Ring the bell for a clerk. Check out the impressive collection of solar-powered wiggle toys behind the counter!”
“Great staff and location for dropping off packages for online sales. I go 5 times a week and it’s a very busy spot! If your packages are labeled correctly you are in and out right away, otherwise you may have a long wait!”

“Giving 4 star just because my work got done smoothly, but it took some time.Kind of a secluded place but work gets done. Staff looked quite introvert and had to wait for some time until someone showed up at the counter. But later felt like they are ok to help with queries and process for the first timers, just look like they are not happy with the job. Overall decent for a quick mail or money orders.”

“One of my go to post offices. I frequently go to post offices due to my job . The front counter guy is very nice and personable . If I’m in the general area I’ll stop at this one . Never a line to drop off packages . Very small inside .”
“I typically don't write reviews but when I was looking for a nearby post office, I saw this location. I was nervous to go due to all of the horrible reviews, but it was a convenient location. I rarely go to the post office and when I do, it's for something simple like mailing a large envelope or buying stamps - this time I brought holiday gifts to ship. I found a box that was the perfect size, I put it together, filled it up, then went in line to ask if I needed to seal it up any particular way. The employee helped me put the box together in a safer way and get it taped up. She also provided me with a shipping label and a pen and gave me space on the counter to assemble everything. I'm sure I looked like a total idiot but she helped me and didn't make me feel stupid. I'm super grateful that such a nice person was working there.”

“Whoever was working today around noonish was so wonderful. The post office only had 40 special stamps for our heavy wedding invitations so she input and printed 23 individual paper-stamps for the rest of the invitations so that we could get them sent out today. Thank you so much! I know it was tedious but you were a champ about it.”

“Other than having to bring cash as backup due to spotty wifi, I really love this location. Parking is convenient, and although they have high volume, there is never a line. They have regular, dedicated employees who really know their jobs, are friendly, and keep things moving quickly yet respectfully. Regarding delivery, on a few occasions I needed special help with packages, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.”
