I always love coming here... I had a good experience with a P.O. box that wasn't used at all and was able to be refunded. Aside from that it enables you to slow down and enjoy where you're at for a break in the day, right along the river. So sad it's currently washed out from the recent storm.

OH MY GOSH! The two women who work here are not only so kind but also so helpful. I had about 30 packages that had the wrong ship date printed on them which was totally my error. Instead of turning me away they went out of their way to help me get a massive shipment out. I will definitely be using them for all my postage needs.

Thank goodness Dan retired (or was he fired?). I used to dread going in there when he was working, because he was the nastiest person I've ever encountered working in a post office. I don't know why they kept him employed. Once I complained about the way he threw my mail around, and one of his buddies, who was next in line, pushed me against the door. In hindsight, I should have sued for assault. But at least Dan is gone, and the ladies who work there now are a real pleasure to work with.

I had the most lovely experience at this post office. Blanche is the kindest postal worker I’ve ever come across. She personally helped me hand-cancel and mail out my wedding invitations. Blanche also assured me that the grumpy man in the other reviews has since retired. If you need anything, she is your woman!

It’s really beautiful location... but they said they can’t scan packages and they send it out for that stuff. - I needed it scanned the day I brought it there for eBay and they never scanned it. Still no idea where it is.

I love going to this post office! It is never crowded. The service has always been wonderful. The staff have always gone out of their way to accommodate me.

The grumpy old man who runs this post office is a disgrace to the Postal Service. He is rude and sarcastic. I have reported him to the USPS. He should lose his job.

I just had nearly a carbon copy experience as the previous customer, Anne. I arrived this afternoon about 15 minutes before the office was due to close. The older gentleman (if he qualifies as such) hurried the customer in front of me away, because they were to "close in a few minutes!". I kindly stepped up and began to explain that the stack of postcards in my hand (approximately 100 count) were all addressed for local addresses and organized by street (I was trying to save someone some work), but before I could finish my sentence, he grabbed the stack from my hand and heaved them into the bin a good 4 feet away. My jaw dropped, because they hit the side of the bin quite hard. True to form, he was smirking as he said "that's where they go!" Bye! Bye!" I shook my head in disbelief. And this WAS NOT my first poor experience with him. A few months ago, I tried to buy a book of Forever stamps, and he made a remark something like "I just love when people come to this little post office and expect us to carry special stamps like the other bigger offices carry. Go up the street to the Greenville office, but you're gonna have a big wait!" Huh?!?

I went there to drop off my wedding invitations, and I told the old grumpy guy at the counter that I didn't want to drop them through the slot because I didn't want them to get messed up. I asked him if he could please put them in the bin for me. He took my stack of envelopes and threw them into the bin, gave me a smirk and said that's the best they will be treated. Such disrespect and lack of customer service. I hope his manager knows how horribly he treats people.

This isn't a post office, it's a postcard from the 19th century. We send packages addressed to ourselves simply to have an excuse to go there.

Maybe if someone answered the GD phone they would be useful.
