Here is a recent update on my review:
I had to put my car in the shop again and DJs gave me a thorough diagnostic on my Exhaust system. I learned that previous work had been done to the system before I got the vehicle and DJ and his team worked vigorously to keep costs down and repair my vehicle to standard. They also took their time but ensured I was not without transportation thru the weekend. They replenished the fluids in my vehicle and now it runs like new.
I trust DJs Automotive for all of my Car Care needs. They are not in the business to keep you coming back but if you do have to come back, your vehicle is in great hands.
DJs automotive gave me the best service and treatment beyond my dealership. They answered my many questions and addressed my concerns about pricing. Djs gave me the best reasonable price for my needs. Their service was fast in getting me back on the road again. With a 1 year warranty, I am confident to keep DJs automotive as the servicer of my vehicle for years to come. The mechanics were courteous and professional, patient and accommodating and the shop is conveniently located near my residence. My car was in the best of care at DJs. I informed them that this was the best experience I have ever had with car repair. They didn't gouge out my heart or rip off my pockets. They worked together with my warranty company to get me the best service and pricing.i recommend this shop to everyone for great service and affordability. Thank you DJs Automotive. We are family now!

Dj has good energy And so does his workersand makes you feel like you can really count on them to fix your car and to fulfill the needs and concerns Of not only you but other customers as well I’ve seen customers come in behind me and you can tell that they love his Shop and Appreciates all that. The owner himself worked on my car and he Figured out what the problem was and fix it. I would refer anyone and everyone to go here. His shop has excellent service and lives up to the stars that I’m giving

Absolutely ZERO stars if it were possible to give. These people and New Castle motors are in with each other to profit off the backs of hard working people. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE. Their customer service is crappy and the guy who works on the front will talk to you like an idiot. Take your car to another local shop. This place will milk you dry for every penny and when you tell New Castle Motors, they defend this type of behavior. Never have I had a problem with mechanics until coming across this place. I only went here because New Castle Motors recommended it. I took my car to my local mechanic and they gave me simple answers LIKE A MECHANIC SHOULD. NOT TALK DOWN TO ME LIKE AN IDIOT. Besides, the workers look like they couldn't tell a lug nut from a bolt. Be wary or just avoid this place all together. Especially if you are a person of color.

These Guys are the best, I can’t stress that enough. The Man him self DJ, helped me out when I didn’t even know what or how much my car repair would cost. Saved me money and best of all gave me a tour. This is by far the most amazing auto repair shop i’ve ever been too in 5 years. No one does it like DJ! :)

We had a flat tire on 95 South 5 minutes from DJ’s automotive in New Castle DE around 2pm during a trip from NJ to Jacksonville Florida. We called Costco tire center. But they didn’t carry the tires that my husband wanted to get. We found DJA on line with an almost 5 star review. They ordered the tires from a warehouse near by. The tires were there shortly. They immediately fixed our problems and we were able to go on the road again. Their efficiency, honesty and attitude to their customers are hard to fine. We also enjoyed the conversation before and after the repair. Thank you DJ Automotive’s owner and workers there ?

We went in to get a problem fix electrical and he fixed part of the problem told to bring it back and will take care of the other problem for free to turn around and charge me the ridiculous price for something he should have fix from the beginning. He is a crook in my eyes and I will never take my vehicle to him again not to mention he had it for 2 days to charge a arm and leg to fix a small problem that should have been taken care of from the beginning a crook in my eyes! He’s not a honest man.Like he claims to be.

Dj and his guys are the place to go for all your cars mechanical needs. Hands down best experience I’ve ever had. They were quick to find the problem and we’re very upfront and honest about how much and how long it would be. They made the whole process so easy and stress free. Dj is not here to take your money or rip you off. These guys do great work and are very fairly priced. I’m going to recommend to everyone I know to go to him for whatever they need. I'd take my car to the dealer concern about deflating tire, wobbling & sounds when driving (3 times). They founded nothing but founded other things to fix. Went to DJ auto service, they figured it out and now my car fell like a new car. He took the time to look & informed me of the problem instead of brushing me off.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Not a good expereince..I had made an appointment for 8 a.m a week ago to bring my car in for a diagnostics and I came in the shop and the guy asked what I was doing there...I tell him I was there for my appointment for the diagnostics. He then tells me there were a bunch of people before me. Says look at all what I have outside and points to all of the work he had to do...mind u I had already made this appointment a week ago. Then, was told it would take all day to get a diagnostic done. I said it is our only car I would have to bring it back. He asks if money was an issue and I say NO money is not an issue it is my only car..then he says oh u cannot.rent a car...really!!!!!so he pulls my car from the garage and then I get in it and there are coffee stains on my passenger front seat. Great work ethics....do not go here please!

I chose to take my vehicle to DJ’s soon after my car broke down & wouldn’t start. I called ahead to inquire if he would allow my car to get towed to his auto shop and to get a diagnostic. He agreed and notified me when could he could get started on my car. He completed the service very quickly and even allowed me leave my car for a couple of days so I was able to return my rental & gather funds. Soon as I picked up my car, I had experienced issues in starting and he immediately tested the cars battery. He went above and beyond by monitoring its voltage and giving me a car crash lesson on the battery. Long story short, it needed to be replaced. I will definitely go back to DJ for an installation abs additional maintenance! He’s recommended 100%. The service was great and even more, customer experience was smooth. I was in a bind and needed my car serviced (I needed an alternator) and other shops wouldn't have been able to service my car until late into the following week. As a single mom of 3, I need my car. Thankfully DJ's told me I could bring it in (Friday) and I'd have it back Monday which was fine because I had no weekend plans. Dave was very friendly and explained all that they would need to do. He kept me well informed and finished the work on Monday as stated. I'm grateful for the speedy service and courtesy.
