Purchased a refrigerator on 10/26. The compressor is bad. I also purchased a warranty on the product. Home Depot does not service the product warranty. They sold me a bad refrigerator and now I have to go back to the manufacturer to get it fixed which has been a cluster. Not the way it used to work. I will never buy from here again.

On their website a microwave was listed for $69.99 and when I placed it the cart the price was changed to $119.00. The store would not recognize the $69.99 price. Very disappointed. I thought they would honor the website price

My go-to store for my home projects not only because of the great selection of products, but for the friendly advice from those who work there. Many of the projects are things I've never done before so the helpful tips are greatly appreciated.

I really have to give thanks to Mark in the appliance department. He's very knowledgeable and shared honest feedback in reference to my search! He never once made me feel rushed to make a decision and went above and beyond to help me finalize my choices. Thanks Mark! Good customer is still valued! Also a special shout out to the customer service department. I'm sorry I don't recall the young lady's name right off but she also was very helpful and patient. We didn't finish until just after closing and that didn't stop her polite customer service. She was even humorous and down to earth which I adore! Thanks again New Castle DE Home Depot! Your team earned you 5 stars for this experience!

They're always helpful when I need some assistance in the store. I've also tried their pickup service and that's good for anyone who doesn't want to go into the store or who has a heavy order like mulch.

Order online to pickup in the store to find out the item is damaged, then customer service has no clue of anything say the item is customized how if it's on the floor. Then they wanted to credit me to order the item again that can be an even exchange. Nooooo they don't do that....but wait I go to see if the item is in the store which the system says it is....OH wait this item is damaged too. Home depot has unknowledgeable people selling damaged goods! Home depot New castle Delaware

I was going to but much but was afraid I couldn't get them in the car. I was told if I purchased to go outside and staff would put them in my car. I went out and the two employees smoking sat by and watched me struggle putting them in the car. The bags were almost as big as me. They say I should have asked them. I didn't feel I should have to request someone to do their jobs, especially people who don't want to. So if you are a small woman and told you would get help, don't depend on it.

It is unbelievable how BAD the customer service at this store is. All I wanted was a screen door with a doggy door. You would think I ordered the a customer house from another country. First we go in to get the screen door, that was in the beginning of December. First they tell us we have to have someone come out and measure. Of course we can't pay for everything...ooooo noooo.. of course you have come back once the measurements are done. But wait... to get the measurements you have to pay a fee. Ok, finally the guy comes and measures. Now we finally have time to make it back and pay for the door. Great! OoO they have to order the door, that takes almost a month, finally the door the comes, now we wait for the installer to have time. It is now February 22nd, over 2 months!!! The guy (who was an hour late to install the door) opens the box, and bam! The door has a 2 inch gouge in it. Are you kidding me?!?!? 2 and half months and I still don't have a door. The solution... we have to wait for them to order another door... 3 weeks.. It is ridiculous how incompetent home depot has become. There was a time you could go here and get great advice and help. Now your lucky if the person you deal with knows their own name.

Home Depot has been a disappointment many times now. They sub to sub standard installers and never are accountable for the damage done by installers. We bought a new washer and dryer and the installers broke our plumbing. We had to call for emergency service from our plumber and neither Home Depot or the installation company would pay for the damage. When the installers left, they left us with a mess that we had to clean up. I have never been treated more shabbily and will never deal with Home Depot again. We are canceling our Home Depot charge and will never go back.

Well, I have to say that I'm pretty happy with this particular store. Several years ago, before I left NJ, my mom was on the search for a new front window.... not ALL of the windows, just the front one. After I did some searching, I found that Home Depot could do the job. We scheduled an appointment and a representative visited, measured the window, and then explained what brands they had. He talked to us for quite some time, was pleasant, and then left. There were no additional "pressure calls" to make the sale and a few weeks later, my mom decided to get her window through them. "Vlad" arrived to do the installation and was very professional and it did not take him that long. Now my mom was a stickler about the window and had them come back several times after installation to "get things right". That they did with no complaining. I guess I take away one star because it's a shame they don't or didn't have a contract with Anderson at the time, otherwise their service couldn't have been better.

I LOVE my neighborhood Home Depot. So this afternoon, I'm weed-whacking, and the string I'm trying to use was too big. So I have about three hours to weed-whack, walk the dog, shower and get to yoga. Then it occurs to me - I can run up to Home Depot which is like three minutes away, take my dog with me bc they are dog-friendly, and kill two birds with one stone. I love that they are dog-friendly, I love that they are attentive, and I love that they are nice to my dogs when I go up there. Seven dollars and fifteen minutes later, I got what I need, the dog is walked, and I'm in good shape. Thanks, Home Depot!!!

This place is a horror show. You're on camera 100% of the time, which they remind you of constantly by putting the CCTV screens in your face just like a check-cashing place. You may be watched the entire time you're there, but not a single person in an orange apron is going to ask if you need anything. They're content to willfully ignore most customers as they chat amongst themselves at the ends of the aisles. I tried to pay for my $200+ worth of bits and drivers, sockets and keys, which took me over an hour to get together because I was never asked if I needed help and when I finally asked, he didn't have a clue what I was talking about. I tried to use the self checkout; the attendant canceled my order twice after I'd checked about half of the little bits. Extenders. Sockets. LOTS of little items. When she told me to start again for the THIRD time, I walked out. Never again.
