However after finding out that they will not insure me because of my dog I quickly went to State Farm's website to see if they took the same stance as it could void my policy if so. I was so pleased to see their stance on breeds vs bite. To quote them exactly: "Just like humans, dogs are individuals. Every dog has a unique personality. While a dogs’ breed may dictate what the dog looks like, how a dog reacts to people or situations isn’t guaranteed by breed or type." It was about my needs and what would work best for me. During the process of getting set up they explained everything on every crazy question I ( ding bat) had. Even today, If I have a question I can send an email only to get a quick response during the week or first thing Monday; maybe Tuesday if a vacation or holiday? I can call too. I haven’t had to wait forever in hold, like my old insurance company. On top of that I get the app which is a bit easier to use than my old company’s.
