Not my usual supplier, but needed what they had. Very courteous and helpful on the phone, and good group of guys, friendly,, and even tried to fill me up on donuts. I will definitely consider them for material in the future.
Also to note, the showroom has a great display. There were reps from manufacturers as well. I wasn't able to look at much due to time, but it's worth another trip to get an idea of their product line.

I called to talk about some shingles for a shed that I’m building. Mike Valentine helped me match up the shingles from a picture. They are an exact match. I’m more of a finish carpenter, so when I go to J&L I always need help. All of the folks in the place are always helpful, and on top of that, they make it fun. I think the prices are fair, and they always are nice about me not knowing about exterior products. When you go to the warehouse to get loaded up, the guys out there are equally helpful. They load carefully, so your truck does not get messed up, dirty or scratched. The parking lot is big so you could even take your trailer in, and not have a hard time. We always go in not knowing a thing, we walk out with everything we need, and most of the time we are laughing the whole time.
I come from a 30 year lumber and millwork career. These guys are at the top of the heap. Great stuff ! Keep it up!

Don't use this place that often, as I usually use another distributor and have been using them before I knew this place.
