I live in Lancaster city and we recently found a mama cat and her babies living under my neighbors deck. Neither my neighbors nor I are cat people so we weren't sure what to do. I called Pet Pantry and left a message. Within 24 hours I received a call back from Nacomi who asked me a few questions and was able to determine the age of the kittens and we set up an appointment to have mama spayed. After a couple days of interacting with mama and the kittens I thought mama might be friendly enough to be an intake at Pet Pantry where they'd then spay her and adopt her out, so I called Nacomi back. We agreed that I'd bring mama in on the date we agreed to have her spayed and the staff would assess her. If she was friendly enough, they'd take her. If not, I'd pay to have her spayed and would return her to city kitty life as I was unable to find anyone willing to take her. Luckily, today was our appointment date. I took mama and kittens in. Nacomi said they'd keep mama, and get her adopted, as she's a friendly gal and they'll find homes for the kittens.
My whole experience with Pet Pantry has been nothing short of amazing. I can't thank Nacomi enough for her patience in answering all my questions and I'm so happy to know that the kittens will be adopted as well as their mama. City kitty life is a hard life and I'm so glad to know mama and kittens will go to loving homes where I'm sure they'll live long, pampered lives.
What a great service Pet Pantry provides for our community.

We adopted our sweet kitten from PP, and it was a seamless, quick and easy process. The adoption coordinator was kind and personable; all of the staff made us feel super welcome. Plus, it’s a beautiful new building and you can tell they love what they do. 10/10 recommend!

Items that I can normally only find at big-chain supermarkets (i.e. maple syrup, vegetable stock, liquid smoke) I can find here at the local small business along with excellent customer service. Thank you for reducing my dependence on large corporate chains.

Need some Dutch Processed Cocoa powder? How about some Cardamom that won’t break the bank for that special recipe? This IS your place. There’s a wide selection of reasonably priced herbs and spices tucked away in the corner. Need some Mango gummi bears? They’ve got you covered there too. There’s fresh fudge and chocolate covered bacon if that’s your thing too. The staff is very friendly and helpful here too. Good prices, lots of treats, and nice people sums it up.

The chocolate covered bacon was delicious. You can try a piece for 25 cents. They also have other options such as chocolate covered strawberries.
